My husband went to Aspen Dental for an emergency visit due to severe dental pain. What should have been a straightforward evaluation turned into an absolute nightmare. After a quick and careless exam, he was told he needed FOUR upper molars removed and should start planning for upper dentures. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL! First off, the lady who did my X-rays was extremely harsh and mean; she literally left bruising in my mouth. Secondly, what they claimed I needed was so far-fetched in terms of dental care. They wanted to remove several of my teeth and perform bone grafts. I went to another dentist today, and they told me that all I need are fillings and one root canal--certainly not nearly as costly as what they quoted me. Please do not go here. I visited them for a toothache. I made it clear at every interaction that I wanted to address my toothache. Their website claimed that they could help with that. I was given x rays and a comprehensive examination. My concerns and questions were brushed off by both the hygenist and the dentist. They seemed more concerned about future treatments than the reason I came in to begin with. They said they needed a "game plan". I thought that was for my tooth. Please stay away from Aspen Dental unless you love nonstop surprise bills. My frustration with Aspen Dental is not with the quality of care and ease of appointments it is with the billing and upcharges. For all three of my appointments in 2025 I was quoted a price for the work and paid my balance in full before leaving the office. After every visit I would then get a bill in the mail for additional charges. just went to see a new dentist after receiving an $8000 treatment plan from Aspen Dental in Palm Desert. the new dentist said that all I needed was a regular cleaning! Aspen Dental's plan included root canals, bone grafting, deep scaling. BE VERY CAREFUL. Aspen Dental is known for inflating charges and treatments.

suggest that you don't go to Aspen Dental anywhere. I asked before I went to them if they do chip repairs. I specifically asked for chip repairs. They said yes they do. They'd have to see it. I offered to send a picture of my teeth since I know dentists do that frequently. I've done it. They were expecting to have me do extensive dental work instead. I specifically asked for chip repair. If I could give this practice a negative number, I would. Their only concern with dentistry from my experience is to bilk you for as much money for treatments that your don't need like a new set of X-rays after my first visit of 3 months prior. I pissed away almost 300.00 and got zero in return. Other patients weren't so lucky. If you want to be upsold for services you don't need and waste your time, then go. I should have read the other reviews. Lesson learned.

At the Aspen Dental office in Palm Desert I had the best dental experience of my life! They were organized and kind. The office was super clean with the latest technology. They did exactly what they said they would do with very little pain. I told everyone how great they are! I signed my quote and paid and felt very positive about the company. I went to sleep last night with my lower left back molar twinging a little. I woke up this morning with a pounding tooth ache. I called a short time after the office opened (8am) and was told I could come in at 8:30. I live more than a half hour away and couldn't make that in time.
