I was making arrangements for my disabled 2nd cousin who needed some denture repair or new. In discussing it with the front desk prior and asking about costs, it was explained there would be no charge for the initial exam & their denture prices start at $399. He has no insurance & on very limited income. The staff were very nice & respectful and efficient--but by the time he left, they arranged for him to pay $800 and finance another $800 for what they said he had to have done. Called last week to ask about making payments asked if they ran a credit check was told no they did the financing .. I was like ok made the appt .. Today I called to see if there had been any cancellations was told to come on in and they would get me right in ..2 hours later I was seen .. The first time we got to use our dental insurance and I made a huge mistake choosing this place! My son saw a female dentist yesterday and she wouldn't clean his teeth because she insisted he had "gingivitis"! However, they wanted to do a gingivitis cleaning at $160! THEN, they wanted him to buy an electric toothbrush which isn't a bad idea however, they wanted him to buy it THERE for over $100-just for an Oral B brand that Wal-Mart sells that are top rated! If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, I would. Absolute scammers. Not even just the N. Kansas Expressway location, but the whole corporation of Aspen dental. I tried another Aspen dental location in a different state originally, and they gave me a bad experience. My daughter was hired just over 1 year ago, did 6 weeks of training and then started as a receptionist. within 8 months she worked her way into being the assistant office manager. That alone tells you that she excelled at her duties. Well after spending around 5,00$’s on dental work that included a 400$+mouth guard, they will not work with me on a damaged mouth guard done by my parents dog. They only said they would take off 20% To make me a new one. I only have had it for 6 weeks. Come on the mouth guard itself is made out of cheap plastic. I understand that it is not their fault for the damage of the mouth guard, but it is less than 6 months old.They should have a warranty option.
