Started of great.... From the start, they told us not to pay our other laon as they were taking over and there was no point in paying it twice. They sent in less than the payoff amount for our other credit union, by over 1k. The check was sent back to them with the corrected payoff amount. They have in my credit report almost 14k for the new loan. The old loan payoff was just a little over 12k. Not sure where the discrepancy comes from? Waste of time!. The initial process was simple and easy. They came back quickly with a low interest rate. The issues started once I wanted to continue with the application. They planned on charging a $450 document fee and then wanted to add gap insurance. When I told them I did not want gap insurance, they started ignoring my calls, texts, and emails. Eventuall I gave up on this loan application and I received an email from them saying they will be closing the application because they could not get in contact with me.

Waste of time!. The initial application was simple and easy. I received a call within no time offering a great low rate. I agreed to start the application. Once I received the documentation I noticed they had a $450 documentation fee and they added gap insurance. This would increase my overall loan by $1400. I told them I did not want to add the gap insurance. The terms just did not make sense to me. They started ignoring my calls, texts and emails. Terrible Company After reading other reviews from the credit karma site I thought I would give them a try. All of my personal information was sent and my application was canceled without an email or a phone call with explanation. This is unacceptable and I do not think credit karma should be advertising for a company with such poor business practices. I don't even have bad credit. I was merely looking at refinancing because each time I login to credit karma it claims they can save me money. I am beyond angry at how this was ... read more

Terrible Credit Karma pushed this at me so I went ahead and applied. I couldn't get a simple phone call back from these people despite giving them THREE phone numbers to call me back at. And somehow they blamed me for not getting back to them, even after I called them back and left SEVERAL messages. If that's how the application process goes, I don't see being a customer being a very great experience. No thank you please. Hopefully reviews can save other people time and a headache.

Does not explain appropriately They tell you one thing do another and send you in a circle. I had to fight with both them and affinity as I cancelled the gap insurance that was "recommended" within 30 days, it took 3 months and put me in a bind. My car went from owing 7200 to owing 7990?!?! And another year added on with "lower" interest...no the interest is lower but my payments are for another year??? No way!

No response to my refinance application I applied thru CreditKarma's offer for my vehicle to refinance. After completion of my online application, I immediately received a call from them requesting a few more bits of information regarding features on my vehicle. Based on the emails I received shortly thereafter, I was told that most applications receive answers within a few hours.
