Good overall..but..if I order Filet Mignon med rare, I expect the filet--not slices of filet done med. If I order a beet, watermelon, arugula salad (listed in that order, I expect more than two super thin slices of beets and two super thin slices of watermelon and a ton of arugula.
You need to keep the music down. It doesn't work so well in an elegant restaurant.
Just wish it would make as many exciting vegetarian dishes and te chef can show his creatitivity with this as well as meat/seafood/fish.
The ambiance and food was exceptional. The first time we have eaten at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Portions were perfect.
AWESOME as always! Never had a meal that wasn't great. Service was outstanding as well.
Everything was spectacular. Crispy shrimp and special salad of the day were a great start. Both tuna and scallop entrees were amazing. Molten chocolate cake was decadent. Also, the different bread selections were a nice touch.
Not the best of the Bartolotta restaurants.
The food was excellent. Moderate serving size, not enough for a hearty appetite. The food was very French aka buttery, and very flavorful. Food delivery to the table was timed at a relaxed but timely pace that suited our desire to enjoy an evening out. The wines we chose were delicious. Wines being plural because the pour was very small. The service was impeccable. The dining room was a bit austere, but comfortable none-the-less. Overall, we had a nice dining experience.
Bacchus was an amazing highlight on our honeymoon. With a view of the park and Lake Michigan, we had a most romantic, three hour fine-dining experience. The elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere was enhanced by the friendly staff who were particularly helpful when selecting a bottle of wine from an impressive and extensive wine list. We look forward to returning for another memorable evening.
