Over-all a very wonderful dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly.
Great food and service. Excellent wine list, food presentation and quality. A fantastic dining experience
We were welcomed from minute one at Bacchus. Having arrived early for our dinner reservation we enjoyed a drink at the bar and found all three bartenders friendly and attentive. Upon being seated by the hostess we were immediately welcomed by Eric and John who both went out of their way to make our celebration special. The dining room host/manager also made us happy that we chose this fancy venue. The food was beyond compare. The veal ravioli starter was delicious and the halibut tasted so fresh it must've been swimming just... read more
Service was very polite and fun, could have been a little more attentive considering it was a "slow" night. The cocktails, appetizers and entrees were superb, only the desserts left something to be desired. Overall very enjoyable and a great place for a special date.
This was an excellent experience. The room was very classy, in an understated way. The view of the lake (if you get such a table) was very nice. Our server (I wish I could remember his name) was excellent. We started with a course of artisan cheeses, which our server explained and served expertly. The spinach salad was awesome. Was too full for desert, but the menu was i... read more
A fantastic place to dine. Some might consider the interior a bit spare, but the only necessary artwork is on the plate, as well as a decent lake view. We did not drink wine (which does not indicate a lack of quality vino- the place is not called Bacchus for nothing, as the thick wine BOOK attests), however, I did enjoy a fantastic stout at the adept recommendation of the house. For small plates, we enjoyed the Sea Scallop "Bartolotta" and the Goat Cheese Tartlet, the former beautifully seared and the latter creamy, light an... read more
A very nice restaurant that executes a pleasant, visually appealing and delicious dining experience.
Our Easter Brunch at Bacchus was exceptional as always. The service and food are womderful. My tuna was cools and seasoned to perfection. The deserts were a faboulous creation of flavors.
Bacchus was exceptional! I have been to many top restaurants around the country recently, and Bacchus stands out. The artichoke salad, scallops, and lobster were mind-blowing! Not sure why we did not go sooner as we like most of the Bartolotta restaurants however; we will be back soon. The only critique: "by the glass" wine pours are light! We just found quite possibly the best upscale restaurant in Milwaukee!
