Very excellent. I took my girlfriend there for a special occasion. We had the foie gras, the pork belly, the veal (medium rare), the braised short ribs, two glasses of wine, and espressos with desert. I was very impressed since food was so excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to taste the best gourmet food in Milwaukee! In my opinion, this restaurant is better than the other Bartolotta restaurants.
Bacchus is a delightful, quiet spot for a wonderful dinner. Cannot wait to return to see what the lake looks like in the daylight when the wind and snow flurries are not howling.

From the time we entered we new we were in for a special treat. We were treated like family and were made to feel comfortable. Everyone was friendly and the food was outstanding. Starting with their luxurious special tomato soup and the wonderful wine selection it made our steaks slide down like butter.
Halloween FunIt was GREAT to see John and Daniel. Their recommendations were excellent. Food presentation was spectacular as well as taste. The Martini with blue-cheese olives demanded a 2nd. Nice Wine! Our favorite restaurant in Milwaukee.
Great menu and notable wine list. Service was sometimes lacking - as the wine kept appearing after the course was served. Food/Wine/Service need equal attention and when one element is off it throws off the entire dining experience. Still, worth a visit!
We had a great time, the food was excellent.
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Bacchus and it was very nice. The food was excellent, the service was very good, the wine list was extensive! The "extras" that they provided (two glasses of champagne, a dessert with a candle) made our special day even better.
Great! Loved all 8 courses we had! Will be back
