An amazing location in a historical building with an option for conservatory dining on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The flat iron steak and sea bass were beyond delicious. Wine list was short but included a choice for most palates. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was definitely romantic and quiet with a contemporary flavor. A wonderful choice for exquisite dining in Milwaukee!

Sat at table in corner right next to food station. Great menu, food, and service, but tables are too close together, and ours, in particular, seemed like a revolving door of wait staff, food, and noise.

Food was excellent as expected from Adam Siegel and Bartolotta. Service was superb. Atmosphere not up to Lake Park Bistro but did the best they could with the location. Only criticism is that some of the portions were a little small (only 3 scallops in seafood risotto, micro-sized sticky toffee pudding)and the scallops seemed a little overseasoned (salty?)

The meal was excellent. We took my folks there for Valentine's day and had a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The wine list was fantastic, we ended up drinking our usual special occasion bottle of Caymus Cabernet. The appetizers and soup were our favorite courses. The service was satisfactory at best, I think since they were so busy and working at full-staff it is probably better and more personalized during regular non-holiday hours. Sitting outside in the solarium in the middle of February was a fun experience. I w... read more

Outstanding food, outstanding service. Really- there was no room for improvement. I haven't completely enjoyed a dinner out like that in quite a while. From the cocktails (which were really good), to the dessert, everything was great. We had the cheese plate as an appetizer, and it was a highlight.

The food and atmosphere was fantastic. The service was great for a very busy Valentine's Day night. The bar is quite expensive so if you are on a budget, try to save your money for the food. I had red snapper and my wife had the filet mignon. Both were done perfectly and had great flavors.

Always a treat to be able to go to a restaurant you've been to multiple times before, and consistently be amazed. If not the best restaurant in Milwaukee, then top two!

My girlfriend and I went to Bacchus for Valentine's Day. The service was very good. Our waitress was very friendly. We had the Scallops and Crab cakes to start. Both were top notch. I think the scallops were the best. We were both in the mood for steak. My girlfriend ordered the filet, and I had their flat iron steak. Both steaks were done perfectly. We ordered them medum rare, and that is how they were throughout. They were also nicely seared, but somehow tasted dry. Both steaks were sliced open for presentation. Maybe they... read more
