The food was outstanding as always and the service was great until we finished our dinner. It took 30 min for someone to return to our table so we could order dessert. It took another 30 for us to get our dessert and bill. Our primary waiter went MIA and no one seemed to take his place. Very disappointed in the service at the end. Who waits 30 min to come back to a table and take the dessert order?! Our compliments to the chef though, the food was fabulous.

Made the mistake of going on Valentine's Day. I expect that from lower quality places that try to jam everyone in to make a buck on the "holiday". To my surprise Bacchus is not above that. Service was slow to arrive to the table, then rushed once they met with you. Also, and what bothered me the most, was that they replaced their signature selection of three breads at the table with one, average, offering of italian bread. A big deal? Our waiter never asked if we wanted water, never told us about the specials. Once we got our entries we were out of drinks he never asked us if we would like more- we actually had to track him down to ask him for more beverages. He also forgot about the dessert we ordered and then he asked if we wanted a dessert and we told him that we already ordered a dessert at the beginning of the night- then we had to wait 25 minutes for our dessert and he never asked if we wanted coffee with our dessert – which we would have enjoyed. Service was too slow. We were there almost 3 hours and we weren;t eating at that leisurely of a pace. Not much attention paid to our table. When we first were seated we had to wait 10 minutes. I then went and asked a manager to have a waiter come over.

I was quite disappointed in my experience at Bacchus. Aside from a great ambiance and good service the food was just average if not below average. This would probably have been ok had the prices not been so sky high. I'm not opposed to a nice place like Flemmings or Capitol Grill but the NY Strip I had was luke warm at best and had little to no flavor aside from the sauce it was completely soaked in. My husband and I went on a Saturday night, Valentine's Day weekend. The service at the bar was very slow. People were waiting at least 8-10 minutes just to get a drink. It almost felt like the staff were deliberately ignoring customers. However, the cocktails were very delicious. At dinner, I don't know if they were having an off night or if they were short staffed, but our service was horrible. I wish we kept a tally of the amount of apologies we got all evening. We arrived 1/2 hour earlier than our reservation but checked in at the front desk and told them we would be in the bar. While watching people come in and sit around us and then get called for their table, after 45 minutes, we went up to the front desk and asked when we were going to be seated. They had gone over our name and sat many other people. They appologized and 5 minutes later we were seated.

My wife and I had our Valentine's Day meal at the restaurant. While the waiter was most pleasant, the food was only average. My filet was tough and a bit overdone. My wife's shortribs were unremarkable. When I ordered a second glass of wine, the wrong variety was delivered and the waiter seemed shocked that I noticed. I frankly expected much better.
