Mediocre at best. We've eaten at other Bartolotta restaurants in the past and had very high expectations. Unfortunately, Bacchus did not meet up to our expectations. The Mother's Day brunch menu was not posted on their web-site. We were expecting some of the same menu items posted on their web-site, but that was not the case. Brunch was overpriced, and the food tasted like banquet food. Not bad, but not good either. For some reason we were served a half glass of Mimosas each, even though they were grossly overpriced. The sou... read more

After hearing how wonderful Bacchus' brunch was, I was looking forward to taking my wife and son there for Mother's Day brunch. Wow, was I disappointed. I will give them this: the space is spectacular and the service was phenomenal - both detail buttoned-up and friendly. But apart from that and the bloody mary, the food experience left little to be desired, especially when you consider the bill. The prosciutto and melon looked like it was plated by someone from George Webb, and while the crab cakes benedict looked wonderful,... read more

Went to Bacchus because we had a Bartolotta's gift card, but won't likely be back. Yes, you're there for a leisurely dinner, but service was extremely slow. Specials were sold out prior to 7:30 pm on a Saturday. Lobster was chewy. Chicken had good flavor. There are so many other nice places to go in Milwaukee for a special dinner, I would go elsewhere.

Had a disappointing visit to this restaurant after many wonderful meals in the past. They were 5-10 minutes late on our reservation time and at the bar my wife sat in two barstools that were wobbly and loose in places. The servers seemed confused. We were not told the specials until we asked and overheard another table offered specials we never heard from our server. Two of the specials were out by 8pm on a Saturday. The servers were slow and took about 15-20 minutes to offer us bread. We were never sure who was our main ser... read more

We have dined at Bacchus many times and always enjoy it. Our meal was great but the portions seem smaller than ever! I think that it is becoming too expensive for the portions of food that are served. I don't need a huge portion, but at least want to feel like I have eaten when I leave!

Not the best experience. I had the very small lobster bisque. There was a seafood ravioli in the soup. It was piping hot in the middle and burned my mouth when I bit into it. My foie gras was good. I wish I had more than 1 tiny toast on the side though. The foie gras was large and it needed maybe a couple of pieces of toast to offset the richness. The sweet potato ravioli weren't very good. The curry flavor was overwhelming and we couldn't even taste the sweet potatoes. Desserts were disappointing . I had the sticky toffee p... read more
