We have been taking our beloved dog, Caramel, to this location for years. Not only does Caramel LOVE to come play, but we feel 100% confident and happy she is in a place that truly loves her! We will ask her as we are driving to take her to boarding or day care, if she wants to go play, and she will become very alert and start wagging her tail, and trying to get out of the car because she loves being here SO much! We find all of the staff very genuine in their love of animals and in caring for them. This is the BEST place!
I tried Puppy Haven at first, they discriminated against my doggo. So NOT Puppy Haven! Now we go to Bark & Board in Brookhaven!! We're 3 weeks in and have had an excellent experience there thus far. Very pleased with the friendly team and they seem to genuinely love my pup! By his 2nd day, the front desk team smiled, got out of their seats and greeted my dog and me on a first name basis! I agree with Brian! I've been bringing my furbabies to Bark & Board for several years: first to Westside, which I lived near at the time, and for the past year to Bark & Board Brookhaven. I was distressed to hear about the guilty employee. A bad apple can appear any time, so please don't slay the owners (unless they knew about it and didn't do anything, which I doubt.) In light of recent events, I felt compelled to review this business as an actual customer of several years. I routinely care for a friend's dog, and have used Bark and Board's boarding, grooming, and retail services on many occasions since this location opened. I have never experienced anything but the utmost professionalism and exceptional care during every visit. As a customer who has been coming here since they opened, I'll STILL be bringing my dog here. I've had no issues what so ever. I refuse to stop taking my dog to a place where I KNOW she's happy. I practically get pulled up the steps, and have to drag her out the building. The staff is super transparent about all behavior to pet parents and say something as soon as they see a change. It is sad to see everyone coming here (who probably has never even had a dog stay in this place) to trash their review page due to one bad employee. This SINGLE employee does not reflect the business itself. As mentioned, the employee has been fired and does not reflect the business as a whole. I find it extremely unfair for people to leave negative reviews when they don't even use the services of Bark and Board. My dog has been attending Bark and Board in Brookhaven for almost three years now. We leave her every week for day care and also use the overnight boarding at least once a month. Every December we leave her for well over a week. Our dog loves when we drop her off. The staff knows her by name and loves seeing her as well. Stuart and his team volunteer their services and facility to provide free grooming and other services to the foster dogs of Releash Atlanta, many of whom come into the rescue not looking too hot. They groomed my pomeranian foster this past week and did a great job. Facility also seemed very nice.
