I used to board my dog there and personally had bad experiences with the staff. They are full of attitude, terribly trained and the owner seems to not care! I contacted the owner and he seemed very indifferent to the issue, actually backing up the employee. I'm glad the dog abuse video came out viral and hope they go completely out of business. Dog abusers - check online & the news before you send your angel fur babies here. After 3-4 months of going here with no problems with my dog whatsoever. My dog became "aggressive" during her stays here while I was at work. She was then blamed as the culprit and kicked out. Looking at the news now, I highly believe something more was happening here. I'm now spending over 5,000 to get her rehabilitated by a licensed animal behaviorist & trainer. Dogs should not be mixed into rooms like this with other usually not trained do... read more

NEVER leave your pets here!! We left our lab here for a few days and she was terrified when we got her back. Acting out and having accidents, it was very out of character for her. It took her a while to get back to acting like herself. I called the owner but they did nothing about it and didn't seem to care. There is also video footage of the employees getting onto and kicking the dogs please never ever leave your pets here.

The owner of this business is overly sensitive and spiteful, which goes without saying are not good characteristics for a good business owner. I never made a public complaint about this business, but did state over the phone in a message to them my preference for one particular employee being there on staff when my dog was there in daycare and I would choose to drop her off on one of those days. I have taken my dog here and he seems happy, but twice he has come home and vomited profusely. It seemed he ate something he shouldn't have. That has never happened at any other daycares I have had him in. Just a concern and felt I needed to post.
I am not too sure what to think of this place. Upon arriving the facility seems really nice and they say your dog is out playing all day inside or outside depending on the weather. First time drop off was easy, I filled out a form online and dropped her off with ease. Then I decided to have her stay over night and called ahead of time and asked specifically each price for each thing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I have had two terrible experiences with bark and board. Over the summer I took my dogs to Bark and Board Brookhaven for boarding, and when they came back all three had Kennel cough. My one 10 year old dog almost died from this. Quickly loosing confidence in this business given the experience my dog has had on the last few visits. One time he has a cut on his paw, then the dog cams I paid extra for didn't work, and most recently his bed wasn't put back together for him to sleep on it so he slept on the concrete floor. This was my first time boarding my two 8 lbs puppies...maltipoos...staff was friendly, however I wasn't prepared that 60 lbs dogs were considered puppies...if a baby elephant was admitted they would put it in the same area...cold concrete floors, dogs are subject to 4 hours outside whether they are cold or not...play pen is full of small pebbles and very little attention was paid to the dogs...we watched the Webcam consistently...the staff just does what they have to and it shows..
