Worst animal clinic ever . They only care about taking your money and not your actual precious pet . They overcharge and charge for unnecessary reasons . Do not ever come here, ever . Their staff have terrible attitudes and they almost killed my poor hamster . My hamster is my other half, my soulmate .. How can they do such things to my hammy ??! If you love your pet, do them a favor and never come here .

I had a terrible experience with this vet. If I could give it zero stars I would. The scary part is my dog was healthy so I can only imagine how scary this place would be if she was ill in any way. I brought my new puppy to this vet for a checkup and vaccines. The vet tech was terrible aggressively trying to FORCE me to buy solutions and shampoos. The vet had the bedside manner / personality of a pet rock and did not spend any time explaining anything to me or even ask if I had any questions. The whole visit was one huge sal... read more

Worst vet ever. You see a different vet nearly every time you go in. One of the vets claimed dental disease and possible thyroid issues due to a slight weight loss. The thyroid blood tests were expensive and two weeks after following up with the office I finally found out nothing was wrong. The doctor that gave me the results even questioned why I had the blood work done. After another unpleasant circumstance, I decided to change vets. They told me they were going to charge for each piece of paper in the record to be c... read more

Pros: 1) Great hours. You can pretty much call any day and get an appointment, although you might have to wait a bit. 2) A lot of locations, plus a 24 hour hospital in Valley Stream 3) The techs and assistants are really sweet and helpful. Cons: 1) They don't explain what they're doing with your animal, or tell you the cost. A lot of stuff is unnecessary (like vitamin boosts) or can be found much cheaper elsewhere. 2) The do every test they possibly can, not caring about cost, without waiting for results to come or altern... read more

I recently brought my sick cat in since it was very close to home. They did a decent examination of the cat, took her temperature and felt her abdomen. They also gave her a "legally required" rabies shot. Then they wanted me to let them transport her to their hospital in Valley Stream and proceeded to show me a list of tests that they wanted to run which would have cost me over $1700. I said thanks but no thanks. The next day I took her to my friend's vet. They took a blood sample, gave her an exam, and put her on anti... read more

Don't take your animal here!!!!!! They are way over priced and a huge rip off. They order nonsense tests to be done on your pet and then make you feel like a bad owner if you question their intentions. They kept my cat for 2 nights for a dental cleaning. Thinking this was standard, I let this happen and ended up with a crazy bill and extra stress for my cat. They had my pet taking unnecessary medication which caused him to have bad side effects which in turn had me visiting them quite often for these side effects. I finally ... read more

I took my parrot to Bayside Animal Clinic in queens b/c he was breathing heavy and not acting normal. The vet told me "you're bird is dying, you must of read the symptoms on the internet". "He's on his last days."I was shocked b/c I had no idea how sick my bird was. I thought he would give him antibiotics. I didn't know that my parrot was that sick. I started tearing up. Dr. Charos suggested to keep him at the valley stream clinic for 48 hours at least. Total Bill would be close to $1000. I couldn't have imagined how expensi... read more
