I'll start off by saying that everyone who works here from the receptionists to the vets is pleasant enough. What's not pleasant is pricing on their services. They are robbing you for having a pet! I got a dog about a month back (puppy of 5 months). For all core vaccines, and Lyme Disease shot + Canine Flu shot - it came out to $502! I also purchased a low-cost neutering certificate for $65, which is supposed to cover the whole procedure, but somehow my bill still came out to $469! In the month that I've had him, I've ... read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I came to get yearly checkup and vaccines for my cat about a month ago and I regret it so much. I recently moved to Flushing and had to find an animal clinic for my cat, he's 17 months old now. I yelped and found this place with good ratings but I regret not doing enough research about this place before my visit. A white male doctor with long hair took less than 5 minutes to look at my cat for physical checkup and gave us a lot of information about unnecessary things that were irrelevant to my cat's vac... read more

NOTE: This review is based on a phone call only. Recently moved to Bayside with our two middle-aged cats. Our previous vet was good, but not so great that we'd consider driving back to Astoria (like we gladly do for our dentist, Dr. Takos). Bayside Animal Clinic is the closest, so despite the 3.5 star review, we gave them a call. After all, 3 stars means "OK", and OK is good. My wife spoke with the receptionist to set up an appointment for two general exams. The receptionist was *very* nice, but we were shocked to hear... read more

HORRIBLE!! First i was charged 2 grand up front for an "infection". Then when i picked my animal up the price goes up to 3k for more tests that i never approved of. And whats included in my bil!?! Goddamn cat food he doesnt need. Almost 100 dollars of cat food because the vet recommended it. What a scam. And now my animal is jn worse shape. Wont eat anything which means they didnt treat ****. Probably just left my animal in a cage for two days and charged me 3k.

So much to say... Let's start with the fact they are never on time. I had a 10am appointment to "drop off" my dog to be transported to the valley stream location for x Rays. I show up to find out we have to wait for the vet... Which has not arrived yet. I ended up waiting for 20minutes for her to show up. The other three times I have been here this month, I was waiting for over an hour to be seen. So be prepared to always wait. Communication is horrendous. I left after today's appointment and received a call about 5 minut... read more

Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. Scam. My pup was limping one night, so I came to Bayside Animal Clinic because it was the only place opened at that time to see what was wrong with my pup. The vet who did the check up said my pup needed a knee surgery and that it would be best if he stayed the night at the clinic. The overall total came out to $5,000 for the check up, medicine, and the overnight stay. $5,000 is a hefty amount of money, and I didn't have much on me, so I declined and took my pup h... read more

Worst animal clinic ever . They only care about taking your money and not your actual precious pet . They overcharge and charge for unnecessary reasons . Do not ever come here, ever . Their staff have terrible attitudes and they almost killed my poor hamster . My hamster is my other half, my soulmate .. How can they do such things to my hammy ??! If you love your pet, do them a favor and never come here .

I had a terrible experience with this vet. If I could give it zero stars I would. The scary part is my dog was healthy so I can only imagine how scary this place would be if she was ill in any way. I brought my new puppy to this vet for a checkup and vaccines. The vet tech was terrible aggressively trying to FORCE me to buy solutions and shampoos. The vet had the bedside manner / personality of a pet rock and did not spend any time explaining anything to me or even ask if I had any questions. The whole visit was one huge sal... read more

Worst vet ever. You see a different vet nearly every time you go in. One of the vets claimed dental disease and possible thyroid issues due to a slight weight loss. The thyroid blood tests were expensive and two weeks after following up with the office I finally found out nothing was wrong. The doctor that gave me the results even questioned why I had the blood work done. After another unpleasant circumstance, I decided to change vets. They told me they were going to charge for each piece of paper in the record to be c... read more
