Dr. DeFeis saved my dogs life. She was so sickly as a puppy and he nurtured her back to health. I trust him like he's my family. He genuinely cares and and I can tell.

If you want top notch quality veterinary services for your animal this is the only place you should take your loved one I've been going to all there locations especially bayside and valley stream which is also there 24/7 hospital that is spotless n from there employees to doctors you can never be disappointed I have 2 dogs and a cat n they have been taking care of them for over 8 years. This place is highly recommended for people who want the best treatment for there best friend!
Bayside Animal Clinic is definitely top-notch in taking care of all my pet's needs and they are very personable as well as the technicians and receptionists. I especially like Dr. Ottenbreit and Dr. De Feis, since they have always been true to form and treat my boy Rocco wonderfully. I honestly love coming to this location!! All the technicians and vets are always so friendly and helpful! But I must say my favorite vet is Dr.Ottenbreit, she's always so sweet and always answers all my questions honestly! I'm always satisfied after every visit!

Great clinic. Not only myself but family members travel from other boroughs to use them. Staff is great. Very knowledgable and nice. They take the time to explain things and answer all your questions. I feel safe and confident leaving my cat with them. Dr. Ottenbreit is great!!!!! She is worth traveling for.
The entire staff is wonderful. All of the doctors are very knowledgeable and very caring. Everyone treats Louie with love and affection and care for him as if he was there own. It was Louie's last day with the sitter and who knows, he may have been partying with his friends. Not sure what he ate or drank but he did get very sick. CVA in Bayside has taken care of Louie since he was 4 months old. I quickly called them, explained Louie's condition and the staff took care of Louie and brought him back to 100% good health. ... read more
I took my 10 week pup there for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. I especially love the 2 nurses (best bulldogs ever)

Best vets ever!!! The doctors are amazing and the staff and vet techs are wonderful! I have to bring my pup in almost once a month for a non-serious condition and they are always so accommodating last-minute, know my voice and my pup and give him lots of love and attention whenever we come in. I recommend them if you want the absolute best care for your pet!!
