When I first got my puppy about a year ago he had major bladder stone problems. Every week it seemed I had to bring him into Bayview Animal hospital because he couldn't urinate. They were very accommodating anytime I needed to bring him in...which was weekly and urgently. Even if I needed to bring him in before work, they would gladly watch him all day because I was not able to come pick him up. Dr. Carew and the staff at Bayview are amazing! I've been taking my 8 1/2 year old English Bulldog to Dr. Carew since she was a puppy. Usually I don't have many issues with her, we come in for the routine vaccinations, heart worm, etc. but this weekend Zoe had a SEVERE allergic reaction to something that ended up causing a hot spot and got infected. She was in a lot of pain, couldn't sleep, and having anxiety so I gave her a little medication to help her rest until I could make an appointment on Monday. On Monday, she was ... read more

Bayview is an awesome hospital with great frontline staff. They are always courteous over the phone and work hard to get you in and out. Probably the best thing about the hospital however is the talent.. Dr. Carew is the best vet in Broward co. Not only is he very knowledgable and spot on, he actually cares about the well being of the animal and you as the owner. He makes himself available and has done so for years. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been taking my pets to Bayview Animal Clinic for over 17 years. As a long time Ft. Lauderdale resident and pet owner, I have also been to several other veterinary clinics in the area. However, no other place begins to compare to Bayview. The entire staff is kind, caring, and welcoming from the minute everyone walks through the door. Had a fantastic first time experience at Bayview Animal Clinic and highly recommend Dr. Carew to anyone that wants the best for their pet/s. Everyone from the vets, to the vet technicians and assistants, especially Tamika, at Bayview Animal Clinic are in it for their love of animals and it shows! My cat is no easy patient and both Dr. Carew and Tamika handled her very well. In the end, it was also very affordable in comparison to other vets.

Worth the drive! I live 30-45 minutes away from the Clinic and worth every mile for the way they treat my Coco. I don't have a specific Dr because every one I had the pleasure meeting treated me with respect and adored Coco. The front desk team is so attentive with the volume that they encounter in the clinic each day. I leave there each care free that my Coco was carefully observed and treated. I highly recommend this clinic out of all the places [no names mentioned] I've been too in the last 8 years.

I can always trust Dr. Carew to only do what's necessary and best for my dog. I can feel comfort in the fact that I'm not being taking advantage of for money and that my dog is not suffering through unnecessary treatments. Clean environment!

I have been going to Dr Gordon for care of my two dogs for many years. He is so kind and reasonably priced. He has always taken his time with my babies and explained everything to me. Today, dr Gordon had to help us by send our baby Buster over the rainbow bridge. This was my first time so I was so relieved that they explained everything in detail and let us take our time. I was with my Buster right to the end. It was all very peaceful. Thank you to Dr Gordon and staff.

I have 3 dogs and a cat, and I am a 5 year client. Every member of this team from the Veterinarians to the office leadership team Irene to all of the desk staff and technicians really care about you and your pet. You can expect honesty, and a staff that is not pushing for revenue. One of my dog's had cancer and the best way togo was in sending me to a local teaching hospital to help keep costs down. The team always has a can do and yes attitude, and that is pretty much unheard of in SFL, much less to get this from an animal ... read more
