UPDATE: after my brother was taken to a hospital and ucla saw how bad the infection on his skin was, they did not want him going back to Beachwood and helped me find another place closer to us. He had widdled down to 131 lbs, in the time he had been there and was all bone. He was always starving and we just thought it was his dementia and he didn't remember eating, NOT!! He immediately began gaining weight at the new facility. He is now at 191 lbs which may be a few too many..but he is being fed!!! It has been about a yea... read more

We brought my mom here after a spinal cord injury that resulted in paralysis. She was severely neglected, bordering on abuse. She has PTSD from the experience. She was left alone for many hours at a time. She had just become a quadriplegic and could not walk or use her arms. She needed help with everything and they were far from supportive. My sister has been a patient at Beachwood for a few months and has had several serious complaints. On at least one occasion, she had major pain in her legs and requested her usual pain med, but it was not given to her until three hours later. The next day, she had too much residual pain from her dialysis treatment to be given a shower, so she requested a "bed bath" instead. CHECK ON YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE HERE! We live in the apartments next to this place and constantly hear people yelling "HELP" every other hour of the day.

A horrible facility, warehouse for people dying, . Patients screaming for help, non english speaking inattentive rude staff. My bed was broken and so I got a bedsore trying to move, I was referred there by Kaiser Permanente, in whom I have lost trust.

This place is absolutely HORRIFIC. Let me start by saying sending your loved ones here is basically sending them to die. Literally where do I start. My dad is currently in this place. He went for some rehab as he hasn't walked in years. He had some wounds on him upon entry but since his arrival to Beachwood they have only worsened the crazy part is this place is supposed to be "Known" for their wound care what a JOKE! They killed my granddad. He had over 5 bed sores with 2 being on his private area. Bumps and bruising on his arms . I can't believe this people . Just remember one day you will get old and I pray god don't have mercy on your souls

I received a reply from the "Owner" after my last review with an insincere apology that is apparently sold as a package to businesses as the wording to a previous review I saw for several other sites. How can you believe in a business when the principals will not put their names on their responses?. The Administration staff at Beachwood (aka Cantaloupe Holdings, LLC) have worked very hard to keep names a secret. The Administrator; Anton Novitsky is impossible to reach by telephone. please call the state its short staff mainly on nightshift and each cna gets 18 patients a piece that is ridiculous
