"Treated poorly by salesperson. went elsewhere" my wife and I went to the dealership to test drive a vehicle. Took 15 minutes before we were introduced to Robert, a salesperson. He spent less than 5 minutes with us, then sent us out for the test drive with a young employee who told us she never really took customers out on test drives, was just doing this as a favor for the salesperson, couldn't discuss price at all, and needed to keep us on side streets because she wasn't allowed to drive elsewhere. "Don’t follow BMW lease guidelines and mark-up money factor" I discussed with a salesman about a purchase of a new 5-series, and was negatively surprised by the offer received. While other BMW dealers were following the guideline and using 61% for the 5’s residual value, they used 57%. Also marked-up the money factor, using 0.00186 instead of the BMW Financial 0.00166. "They Damaged my car" My car was taken to Lauderdale BMW for a recall on the door latches. From a recall I received a bill for a door handle, a battery, a diagnostic test and a door vapor seal. Detailed in a bill from David Williams. I had no problems whatsoever with my door handle. My door handle was working fine before Lauderale BMW started working on it for the recall. "Way over priced " I drive to Naples for service it’s way cheaper than this place, to check my car here I pay 400$ I do the same thing in Naples Bmw 140
"Consistently terrible" I've had 3 cars through the service shop. My experience is they are: 1) Totally overpriced even vs other area BMW dealers. 2) Charge for work which was not done. 3) It can take several visits for the same problem to be fully rectified. BMW itself is to blame as well. 4) They supposedly run diagnostics (at least they make a big deal about the cost) then didn't seem to identify 2 extended warranty problems that should show up in diagnostics. "Replacement Key from xxxx" Absolutely the worst service dealer I have ever encountered in more than 40 years. I have been waiting for a replacement key to my BMW X5 for over 2 weeks now. Now entering week 3. Please avoid this "bunch of promises" service shop in Ft. Lauderdale.
"Worst Service Department" Horrible experience with Service. Rude and unprofessional staff from Porter Service Advisor Enterprise and Service Manager. Go somewhere else. I highly recommend Vista BMW in Broward.
Long story short, I had a deposit down on a high end vehicle and they sold it to someone else in California. I'm sure that guy paid more for the car than the deal we hashed out. Also I was told I was required to drive the 5 hours to come sign for the car. This was not the case for the person from cali they had the car shipped to him!! Why would you ever do business with such scum!! Run away, far away!
FYI This email was sent to BMW Germany and BMW USA. I got the refund as it was clear to BMW Germany and BMW USA that I was either a victim of incompetence or fraud. You be the judge. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I purchase at CPO ActiveHybrid5 from Lauderdale BMW on July 5th 2016 (2013 Model). Prior to going to the Dealership I printed a copy of the Carfax which indicated that the car was first reported as being purchased on July 19th 2013.
