DON'T let them wash your car I've been going to this location for nearly 30 years, beginning with a previous owner of the location. The experience under current ownership is just OK, not what you'd expect from BMW, and not what I experienced with the previous owner. You should give other locations a try if possible. Because it's so close to my home I've been going here, but now that the full BMW warranty has expired I'll be using a different shop for mx. STAY FAR AWAYYYY If I could give them 0 stars I would. We purchased a vehicle May 16, 2019. It is now September 11 and multiple calls to the dealership because our cars tags expired and they aren't doing anything about it. They gave us the excuse that the DMV person was out on maternity leave. It is crazy that its almost 4 months, we've emailed, called and driven from La Mesa to Encinita's multiple itmes. not trust worthy i bought an extended maintance package from the Encinitas BMW under false pretense . now the dealership or customer service will not contact me back . is this the way bmw handles miss information ?

Robert Townshend Have taken my BMW for a few repairs. The area where you meet with service advisors is definitely not up to par for a BMW dealership. Last time I was in (COVID-19 period) I noticed in the Office of the service advisors, 1/2 of advisors were not wearing a mask. I saw 2 service advisors talking with customers and the service advisors both had their masks below their noses. It seems as if this dealership is not taking the virus seriously. I may consider going elsewhere for my service.

Worst experience ever! ZERO stars, but I had to give them one in order to post. I bought a BMW 750i from BMW Encinitas thru AutoNation; paid for in full in October and had it shipped. The car was delivered damaged and missing equipment. It is now March and besides repeated promises, nothing has been done to rectify this situation.

Horrible post-sales experience The after sales experience with BMW of Encinitas was horrible. While they were on it to sell me the car (2020 M8), I had to ask 3 times for a copy of the lease paperwork. I also requested a quote on new rims from the sales manager, two days later- nothing. They didn't even deliver two keys with the car so had to ask twice for the spare key. I have purchased at least 30 cars over the past 10 years and this was the single worst post-sale service experience I have ever had. Ever. Will never buy an... read more

Bmw x6 I have this car for 1year and half and steering wheel heater doesn?t work originaly and this is not just the issue the fisrt day I leased the car interior of the car has many problem and I was going to service department for a month because of ordering part from bmw , therefore this car is not fixed yet about the steering wheel heater and also when they wanted to repair the steering wheel heater they burned the steering wheel ...when I left my car to fix they gave me a loner car and I forgot to get my credit card I ca... read more

Unprofessional customer service Took the body shop 6 weeks to replace a fender. No updates provided at all and when I called them they would make some excuse to buy time. They said they would pay for my rental as they did not have a loaner but I am still waiting for a reimbursement. Save the trouble go and go someplace else!
