Bad experience having my BMW X5 detailed The repair to my emergency brake was fine. I asked for my car to be detailed while it was there; that was a disaster. There was damage to the car and when I pointed it out I was told it was there when I brought the car in! The plastic and wood parts of the car were streaked with a white haze. Service Experience Had my car serviced here. They gave me an electric car for the day. I really liked the car so when I returned the car and picked up my car. I went to the sales department to ask about the electric car ( my lease is up in a few months, they told me to go on line to get details and pricing on the car) REALLY!!!!!. Then when I went to get my car from the service department, they said the car was not washed yet. This was at 5:30, they called me at 4:30 to tell me my car was washed and ready to be picked up. Service Appt at BMW Encinitas Not advised that recommended tires were not in stock at time appt booked. Tire replacement and realignment took significantly longer than estimated. Final check, cleanup and delivery also took longer than advised.
Avoid buying a car from BMW Encinitas Avoid this dealer. Lying and deceitful sales team.
Pack a lunch - It'll be a long day Being honest here. Even though the place is going through some sort of renovation (no signage saying what their doing - missed marketing opportunity), the place is very messy. Worst Service Department Dropped my car off at service with just 1,000 miles over warranty and I had previously taken the car in just prior to passing the warranty milage and I got the "all clear" and "looking good". To be followed by $5,000 bill that was delivered after I made three calls to get an update on the status of the car. Finally got a call back with the news... this place is a joke when it comes to service.

Worst experience ever Dropped my car off for service Saturday morning for basic service. Happened to be pouring rain so thanks for the loaner that had poor tire pressure. Called around 4 to ask if my car was ready, I was told no and they would call back to let me know the status. Never called, I showed up 30 minutes before they closed, but, they decided to close early. I had to take off work Monday to get my car and when I arrived I asked to speak to the manager and was told he would be right out. 45 min later I had to leave... read more
