BMW Broke My Car and told me they didn't do it! Auto Nation BMW of Mountain View did a bunch of repairs on my vehicle damaging crucial component without telling me, returning my vehicle hazardous to drive for the whole engine, not following proper procedures and showing signs of neglect and incompetence. Disappointing service at BMW Mountain View BMW Mountain View tried to sell me services that were not needed especially when the car was under warranty (less than 4 yrs old). Fuel injection cleaning- as soon as they saw the car - without starting the car? They insisted that in the long run it helps the engine. Alignment - This was even before anyone checked to see if the tires were worn unevenly or the car handling was not optimal. The dealership tries to sell such services to unsuspecting customers. meh, don't go here. This review will be in two parts. Buying and service. Buying: My buying experience here was mixed. The sales person I dealt with was good enough. Very nice and no pressure purchasing experience. He was very helpful. Not always 100% knowledgeable, but can't expect everyone to know everything about every car on a huge lot. Best customer Service! This is my first BMW. Wow!!! Love my new X5!!! What I really liked was how nice, helpful and considerate everyone involved was. I didn't feel pressured or taken advantage of. I would definitely buy another car from MV BMW :)
Not Reccomending!! The salesperson did not have time for us when we arrived at the appointed time. The advertised information published of the car is incorrect and the salesperson at the dealer does not know anything about the car, including the model. The car was a 2004 model, but was advertised as a 2005. Also, the car was a manual shift, but was noted as an automatic on the ad. Great service Everything was good except for the checkout. My repair was over $3,000 so I moved my money to my checking account to pay by debit. The girls at the counter said BMW doesn't take debit. The card I gave them is a credit or debit card and they also said the credit card didn't work. Since I didn't have my checkbook. I had no way of paying. Very happy with Michael Gervacio Michael G. was great. He was professional and nice. He was very helpful and thorough in explaining features of the vehicle and responded emails very quickly to answer questions we had after we bought the car.

Desperately seeking answer I bought a new 2010 x3 from this dealer. BMW has made checking the coolant level in this car very difficult. The cap is located in a hard to reach and hand scraping place. I check it once in a while and notice that the fluid level is lower than normal. I topped it off once. I became more worried so I would check it more often. Disappointment I purchased a used hard to find car from this dealership. The whole process was dificult, the car was not ready after I went through the buying process and I have been waiting for the service deaprtment to schedule a service with me three weeks later. This dealership is part of Autonation, a very large network of dealship. BMW expects more from your wallet and I expect more from thier service. I will not shop at any of Autonation dealerships in the future.
