I was searching for a specific used Jetta TDI when I discovered one at BMW of Ridgefield. Personally, I HATE going to used car dealerships and putting up with cheesy salesmen. Brian is an excellent sales person, because he doesn't come across as someone who is 'pushing' you to buy. Instead, he comes across as a good listener; someone who has recently purchased a car (similar to the one we were interested in) and is enthusiastic about telling you why he likes it! Everyone I encountered was very friendly and the entire process was straight forward. Even though I bought a used Volvo, they treated me like I was purchasing a brand new 7-series.
If I had to sum up my experience with the BMW of Ridgefield with one word, it would have to be "indifference". I am genuinely surprised to see such glowing reviews on this site, for my personal experience was more in line with the poor reviews on Yelp, which I feel are more accurate reflection of reality. David's service was excellent. Despite the fact that we have owned several BMW's, David went through all of the car's operations and options thoroughly. We are very pleased with his service.
I was a bit apprehensive of the entire car buying experience. But thanks to Brian Barry of BMW Ridgefield, this experience was a great one. David treated with respect and was extremely friendly towards me, he didn't judge me like I had been at other dealerships because I am young. He went above and beyond what I expected out of a salesman and I will be back for next BMW and every single one after that.
