Update to a review I posted a few days ago with regard to purchasing my 17 year old a used Audi from this dealership. Finally recieved my $500 back into my checking account yesterday, March 16th. It took a while and speaking to several people. For as irate and aggrivated as I was on the phone, I will say that everyone I spoke to remained calm and professional. The principle remains the same.....My credit card should have never been charged.

I hope this information benefits someone who decides to buy a CPO from BMW of Bloomfield. This is an excerpt of the letter I sent to Greg Holloway's office and BMW NA some time ago: " During the completion of my sale, I was told that I had to accept the BMW credit card in order receive the promotional financing rate. I decided to get my car serviced by the dealership (even though it was 40 miles away from my home) after reading the reviews on this website. It was a mistake. They could not be more careless. I had asked them to look into some problems with my car along with the regular service maintenance. Not only did they not fixed my problems instead they removed parts off my car without bothering to fix them. I went early morning at 8 am gave them the car. My experience at the Bloomfield service dept has been mixed. I am now finding several recurring issues. A leak that leaves standing water on my floorboards is the most annoying with the same solution proposed by BMW service (clean out the sunroof drain @ $125/hr again). No thanks. It seems to me that the dealer is trying to turn the car around as quickly as possible, which makes sense at a place like BMW (mostly new cars, still under warranty - the customer doesn't feel the level of technical service they are or are not gett... read more

I called the dealership with information about the car I wanted, at the price I wanted. They quoted me a fairly reasonable price and then proceeded to indicate that I'll have an additional $698 charge for gas and floor mats. He said it usually part of the fees when you finalize the deal, but they include it in the price of the car. I knew there was no such thing and called his bluff- but he proceeded to indicate they all charge it. I called 6 other dealerships and none of them heard of such a charge. I never called back. I had an oil change. OK. 1 week later, enginc service light is on. Returned, was told that I had a broken clip, which had caused the sensor for the gas tank pressure to turn on light. A 5$ fix and a $125 diagnosis. Timing is suspicious. At the same time I had some suspension issues to be checked out. I was given a diagnosis and recommendation for repairs that was remarkably extensive suggesting suspension related repairs of $3200 + 200 for another belt that was "cracked" but not broken.
