Had the distinct displeasure of having my car's first service performed at Bloomfield BMW today. This service was quoted as taking approximately two hours... It amounted to essentially an oil change and inspection. My wife and I dropped our car off', on time, at our scheduled appointment of 8AM. At this time we met with a customer service(CSR)rep who informed us he would call when our vehicle was completed. Completely mislead and overpaid for a CPO BMW which should never have been sold as certified. I will never recommend this dealership for any reason. The service manager told me to call a different dealership to get answers. It was the best service I've received from them since the salesman helped me find a great, lunbeknownst to him misrepresented by the certification dept,) - car. I went there with my wife to look at a BMW X5. The car is for her. While I was very candid about my credit situation, they assured me that they would get a deal done for me. Went there on a Saturday and they told me that the credit people for BMW USA were not in till Monday. I was initially declined, but the finance guy assured me that he could help us, and that he would call me on Monday. No one called me back on Monday. Had an appointment with CA Howard Wu, a typical salesperson, only worried about his needs rather than customers. He obviously was not paying attention to what I said and not nice and patient to answer my questions about car features. worse, info he provided was conflicting. Always ignore my voice messages and never call me back if he missed my call. Frustrating customer service. NEVER deal with him and this dealership again!
I bring my 2012 5.28i for service due to concern with brakes. after keeping my car for over night, next day receive call from service adviser that my front rims are bend and rear tires are worn out. I have less than 28000 miles on car and i bought brand new. estimate was over $2000. I didn't approve any repair. I bring my car next week to BMW of Tenafly. They notice that breaks are bad again. Horrible!! BMW of Bloomfield is the worst location in the area! I will never again go there again, their custom service rude and unhelpful, its seem like they are doing you a favor talking to you or doing anything extra. They have no understanding what is good customer service is, when you ask for management they always try to find a reason not to talk to them. What a nightmare having to deal with service department at this dealership. Terrible customer service! After countless trips to the dealership, the car was returned after fixing the problem with suspension but I found out later that air conditioning fan was not working. And the unpleasant attitude that we were shown at the dealership after reporting that was a bonus. My car was towed in to this dealership because of pothole damage. I have to wait over 3 hr for service and loaner car and I have problem with engine and have appointment with loaner car , by time drop off my car sorry no loaner car , I have luxes do service any time they do have available loaner any time and their service only takes 1hr
