Called the dealership several days ago to arrange a visit and a test drive. Arrived for my 11:45 appt on time and was introduced to a sales associate. It was clear that none of the information I gave earlier this week had been communicated to the sales person, so I reiterated my interest and confirmed my desire to test drive a 7-series. This has to be my worst experience with a car dealership. STAY AWAY - PERIOD. I was contacted initially by Amy Macartney who seems to have pulled my contact details from their sister dealership of BMW of Freehold. She kept on insisting over the call that she can beat the price of any dealership in NJ and I should go to her with the lowest price I am being offered at other dealership and she'll beat it. My VANOS was replaced in June this year. The next day the car overheated because a coolant hose was not connected properly (car had to be towed for this). This week I had to have the water pump and thermostat replaced. Initially they wanted to charge me $1733 (before taxes) for this with an oil change ($145) and the diagnostic test ($89). I ended up paying $1291. How can they start at $1850 (with taxes) and end at $1300? My point is they first try to rip you off. Worst customer service ever!! I took my car in with mist coming in the left headlight and bad left door panel. The service rep (Trevor) told me that I probably hit my car somewhere which could be the reason for things going bad on the left side of the car. I had to literally provide the pictures with dates when the headlight and door panel was last worked on by them and it wasn't done correctly. Spoke with the Parts Dept and the individual refused to give me a part number. Upon requesting a Supervisor, the individual laughed at me and transferred me. Thereafter Mark (Supervisor) informed me that they do not "Normally" give Part Numbers out. I asked him what is the exception since "Normally" they do not give out this information. He could not give me a reason and proceeded to give me an incomplete Part Number in order to get me off the phone.

It was Saturday the 10th May. I landed up at the dealership. I should thank Shahid to arrange for pick up from the Nj Train station. However apart from the pick, it all went wrong. It seems I was being manipulated to buy a X3 instead of the X1, maybe because of the 2015 model a few weeks away. It's ok that what salesmen are taught. However when I expressed my desire to buy a X1 that's when Shahid started behaving weird, he was not interested in even discussion or maybe he was late as it was already 6 pm. I would like to submit feedback on the lack of courtesy of the receptionist staff of late in this Service Center- I have been a customer with the Bloomfield Service Center for now nearly 8 years and it used to be a pleasure and a joy to walk in and be treated like a customer in the first 3 to 4 years. This is the worst experience I have had. I went in for a nail in the tire, the tech "supposedly" removed the nail and patched the tire, while paying for the patch I saw that the work order had a different tire instead of the tire I asked to be worked on, when I mentioned this to Jeff, he told me that the tech put the description down incorrectly but the nail was removed and that everything was taken care of and not to worry.
