I have been to several BMW dealerships, and this one is the best I have been to! I had recently visited the dealership in Fairfax, and found it slightly unfriendly. However, the second I entered BMW Alexandria-Arlington I felt welcome. Everyone working there said hi, and answered any questions I had. Paul Blakeman was my salesman and helped assist me though my first car purchase... he was excellent! I could not have had a better experience. I recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a BMW.
I FOUND MY EXPERIENCE TO VERY SMOOTH AND WORTH-WHILE. THE SALES AGENT WAS VERY DELIBERATE AND APPROACHABLE. I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION TO THE SALES AGENT (PAUL BLAKEMAN)HE ASSESSED MY SITUATION AND FOUND THE VEHICLE WITHIN MY BUDGET AND PLAN. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND SMOOTH. HE NEEDS TO BE RECOMMEND FOR HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE PROCESSES OF SHOWING THE CUSTOMER ALL THE WHISTLES AND BELLS ON THE CAR.
Found the vehicle online and visited the dealer to see the vehicle in person. Paul was very responsive and provided all the info that I requested. We actually closed the deal by phone late on a Friday evening. When I went to the dealership to finalize the deal and do the paperwork, everything was ready to go and the whole process was quick and to the point, no drawn out processes. Minimal attempts to sell extra "services" when I said that I wanted nothing additonal on the used car, the additional sales/finance pitches ended.

I had the good fortune to work with Paul Blakeman. Paul is friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable of the product. I purchased a 2008 BMW 335i. Paul knew the vehicle inside and out and was very pleasant in explaining its many features and technologies. BMW of Alexandria is fortunate to have an experienced man like Paul on its staff. I would recommend BMW of Alexandria to anyone.
I submitted specs to BMW of Alexandria and Paul Blakeman responded. He was friendly, direct and efficient and found the car I wanted. He negotiated fairly and quickly over the phone which I appreciated - there were no games related to having to come in to talk with him. In fact, I agreed to everything over the phone based upon my internet request - very efficient. I would recommend Paul to anyone.
Tu was great! I was always able to reach him by phone or email and he was open and receptive to all of my requests including taking the car to an independent inspector. When it came time to deal I worked with Omar who is a very nice person and a good negotiator. He didn't pressure me and we came to a reasonable agreement. I find it interesting that I am writing a review because I have never done it before, but the experience I had with Paul's service definitely warranted that change in my habits. My husband and I found a car on the dealership's website and when called, were lucky to be connected to Paul. Wow. Easiest car buying experience I think I have ever had, especially on a high end product. I went in prepared to have to do some kind of jockeying or negotiating or worst case battle to get exactly what I wanted, but it was super smooth.
