I went in to test drive a 4 series on October 24th. Met Charles White and we drove a 428i xDrive Gran Coupe. In the dealership, we talked about my criteria and told him I would send a few configurations to get a price quote. The prices for the 4 series were slightly higher than I was comfortable with, so I thought I would consider a 3 series. I was still considering the 4 series, but just wanted to weigh my options. So, went in to test drive the 3 series on October 31st and talked with Charles. He said they drive the same an... read more

Business response:

jim01, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience at Winslow BMW on October 31. I know when I am making a big purchase, exploring all of the options is very important, it must have been very frustrating for you. You may not know, but Charles personally asked me to deliver a new BMW i3 to another customer so he could provide you with undivided attention. Charles is a very alert client advisor whom I spoke with regarding your situation. We believe he must have misunderstood your desire to drive. We do apologize for this mis... read more

I brought my vehicle in after my brake like came on. They service tech checked the pads and said they needed to be replaced. He wanted me to make an appointment for the next week. I declined because I had the car inspected prior to purchase which was less than 6 months prior to this visit. During that inspection I was told the brake pads were fine. I ended up taking it to an independent shop and they confirmed the pads were fine however the sensor was bad. Since this was my first an only experience it left me feeling like I ... read more

Business response:

Dear dcarpen, I am sorry you had a bad experience with our service department. Whenever you lose trust in someone or a business it is disheartening. I want to assure you that we work very hard to deliver exceptional service that you can believe in. After speaking to our Service Advisors and Technicians on your behalf we were unable to correlate your concern to an actual service order based upon review date. Thus we are speculating that we either did a poor job of communicating the diagnosis or made an honest mistake. I would... read more

Today was the worse experience I have ever had. If you need your car serviced do not let Jason help you. He has the worst customer service ever, he is very rude. I was just about to trade for a brand new BMW. Not anymore, I'm headed to the Lexus dealership now. I'm spending my money elsewhere.

Business response:

Hello Angie123, I am sorry you had a bad experience here at the New Winslow BMW. Bad service is frustrating for us as well! I have spoken with our Service Department and believe the origin of your experience was a break down in our communication. It appears that we quoted you an hour to complete the service in which my Service Advisor was referring to a billable hour as apposed to a completion hour. This poor communication set a bad expectation we couldn't deliver on. We want to apologize to you for this poor communication a... read more

I brought my BMW in to get a service code checked to see why my car was experiencing loss of power while being driven. I advised the service tech that the code would only show when the car was driven. Having spoke to BMW North America, I was advised it was probably my high pressure fuel pump, which was currently under recall. When I brought my car in, they proceeded to only plug in a code reader and pull up existing codes, despite my request for them to drive the car and then pull the codes. When they called I asked if they ... read more

Business response:

Thank you, Omar, for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your last experience with the service of your car left you frustrated. We can assure you that our service department has very dedicated hard-working, honest people, just like yourself. Clearly there was miscommunication between the staff and yourself which is unfortunate, and that is regrettable. In most cases as a BMW dealer we have the knowledge and necessary equipment to stay familiar with the workings of BMW, and always have the... read more

We had a terrible experience with Winslow BMW. Skip Winslow BMW and go straight to Elite Auto in Colorado Springs. Full story here... We recently moved from Texas where we had a great relationship and experience with the BMW dealership. Therefore, we decided to go to Winslow first for our BMW repairs. The window of our car got stuck in the down position, so I took it in. A few days earlier, the "check engine soon" light also came on. When I arrived at the dealership they told me it would be $130 just to diagnose the engine p... read more

I brought my car in to get the ecu re flashed and was told it would take an hour and a half to do, an hour half later I have to go find a service department person to get an update! I then find out that they have no idea what's going on and that my car hasn't even been looked at yet! And now I have to wait another 30-45 mins. Poor service! I will not recommend this dealership to anyone for service.

Business response:

I do understand the guest concern with time, we were hoping that he would understand the time was taking a little longer due to he had the brakes installed at another shop. This shop had installed the brake sensor wrong, which allowed the wire to get damaged. Not allowing us to just reset his brake warning light. So after this diagnosis he authorized us to replace the brake sensor which then allowed us to reset the brake warning light. So as you can see it was a little more than just resetting an ECU, we had to diagnosis and... read more

First I would like to say the sales staff here is awesome! Buying a car I would highly recommend this dealership. However if you ever have any questions or problems with your car, don't even bother. Coming to this dealership or even calling is complete and total waste of time. If you can ever get someone on the phone they never seem to be the correct person to talk to to. When you have to go in to the dealership for yearly service or have an issue with the car, you sit around waiting for about 20 mins to even be greeted. The... read more

Brought car in for minor door handle repair. The did a complementary inspection (of course) and gave me "recommended action plan" listing over $3,700 in recommended repairs (bushings, hoses, belts, brakes, CV joint boots, etc). I was suspicious, so I took the car to a independent shop and ask for a quote for all the repairs listed. They said over half the items listed were perfectly fine! The brakes were at 75% new, and winslow recommended replacing both front and rear rotors and pads! The claimed some bushings and belts wer... read more
