On 4/23/15 my plumber installed an RE240L6 ($487 plus labor). Sadly, after just 7 years, the tank leaked. Only one year out of warranty, I am quite disappointed. My plumber convinced me yet, that Bradford White is the brand to replace with, so, on 7/26/22 I had him install a new RE240L6 for $927 plus labor. At almost double the price, I sincerely hope that this unit lasts much longer than the first one. Any pain relief you can give me would be greatly appreciated. this bradford white water heater will not maintain a temperature of approximately 120degrees. It will go to 145degreees, when turned down a little it will shut off completely. when turned up again it will go to 145degrees again. This unit model #RG240T6N, series#SJ42130609 is 0nly 2years old,

I bought a new Bradford White in 2013. It just died today - Dec 16, 2021 - 8 months out of warranty. Not impressed!

I have a Bradford white water heater as i bought a new Town House in August 2016. Its just been about 5.5 years and my pressure relief valve failed causing water to drip down and seep into my other floors. It has been a trying time to get guidance on finding an authorized plumber for Bradford white and then engaging him to come over, get a replacement within the warranty and have same fixed

First time owning a Bradford White water heater and was sold with the statement it was built to last and better. Unfortunately just 3 years in the tank has failed and water leaked all over our basement floor, ruining our parts of our floor. Thankfully the new tank is covered by warranty but will not be telling others to buy a Bradford White for a quality water heater.

The first water heater was installed with the build of the house in 2007. It was replaced in 2016 with same model. This one put water all over the floor Thanksgiving morning 5 years and 5 months later. So your estimate of lasting 10 years or more is not my experience. of coarse the installer is unavailable today so cold shower and no hot water to wash dishes. Happy Thanksgiving!

Bad product. Doesn’t work with well water. Causes bad rotten egg smell. To remedy the problem you have to remove the anode rod or replace it which cost extra money and Bradford white won’t stand behind their product.

Gas water heater had tank leak at 4 years old. Covered under warranty but had to pay $450 out of pocket for replacement install on top of water damage to my carpet and floor in my master closet along with black mold. Not very happy.

New 40 gallon BW HWH installed April, 2021. We had a huge issue with spitting air/water when water turned on-on all faucets. We have had it "bled" by our plumber SIX times and it doesn't get any better. It's extremely irritating to experience the spitting, sputtering whenever the hot water is turned on. Very very very disappointed with this. How can the be fixed??
