Had a CombiCor unit and first one failed with internal leak into boiler coil. This was after 9 years. Replaced under warranty but installation still cost about $2,000. Second one a CombiCorTTW just failed after 9 years as well. BUT only 8 year warranty for a warranty replacement. Do not want a 3rd one. Water is clean water from Lake Ontario.

I am going through a particularly frustrating experience. I have a water heater model number RE240S8 which needs to be replaced under warranty. Unfortunately the model cannot be found when searching Bradford White web site. Model number RE240S6 comes up instead. Have tried to establish situation by contacting Bradford White direct by email without success as I am simply advised to contact local distributor who in fact cannot find my model either on their system. I waited for an hour and a half on phone to have someone picked up. And no information was given aside from "get a licensed plumber" and he will know what to do and where to get the replacement parts if there's a need for any. Not a heads up or even a suggestion on where to get a licensed plumber. Btw, Not even can tell if our water heater is under warranty (I was the one who searched it up, and yes it is). I wish they can give me more info on what else can I do, so my 1.5 hours waiting didnt go to waste.

Isaiah A. I have my 50 gal electric water heater now for 5 and a half years (mf April 2017 & installed in July of same year in my newly constructed home). It worked just fine until 4 years in (2021 May) when I started noticing water leaking from the bottom onto the floor once in a while. As a new first-time home owner, I didn't know better to raise an alarm or have it checked because it didn't mean much to me who never knew anything about water heaters. 4 years ago local contractor installed 50 galllon, 50,000 BTU Defender series and now leaking and needs replacement. Because labor warranty is only for one year the authorized dealer still wants to charge $761.00 to replace on parts warranty. I live alone and could not get more than 4 years service.

I bought an electric water Heather after is installed my Plummer notice a leak , manufactured problems the way Bradford white corporation handle the situation specially Carla the most rude unprofessional human being who maybe has a position that allows her to treat customers with such disrespect, I just wants the customer to know be careful w/ your warranty, I’m very disappointed w/ these products and services . I don’t recommend.
