The Broadstone is great for families. It has an excellent mix of workouts - organized classes like spin and yoga, loads of machines and a free weight room. It has two racquetball and two squash courts, the latter which has very active player. The kids centers are excellent, mainly manned by paid parents. There are three rooms - one for infants (require an appt), a toddler - 6 year old room and lastly a separate room for older kids. My personal favorite is their eight-lane lap pool. This place is really nice. The Club has over 20 tennis courts and a full basketball court!! They have a Kid's Club where kids can hang out. It's very nice. There's a cafe, 2 full size pools, 1 for little kids, 2 spas, and a lot more!!! I've been a member since July 1, 2008 and I still love this place!!
Beautiful club with a real "Club " feel. Not just for working out. You can spend time here as a family really enjoying the facilities and activities. Lots of great fitness classes offered at good times. I have been to all the Folsom Fitness clubs and this is the best.
17+ tennis courts, most lighted, in excellent condition. Court layout too spread out, though-- hard to watch games. Well-designed backboard. Excellent facility overall. Huge club house. Clean-smelling, spacious cardio area with lots of machines and flat-screen TVs-- good ventilation apparent. Full-sized basketball gym. Racquetball courts. Nice pool area.
GREAT fitness classes. Very wide ranged and an interesting mix. Something fun every day. I often took 2 a day when I belonged there, which says alot about how fun they are, cause man am I a lazy ass. The rest of the gym is crawling with kiddies (as is everywhere else in Folsom so I shouldnt complain...it is suburbia) and the main TV is usually tuned to FOX news (AHEM! NO THANK YOU!)
We have been members to this sports club for a long number of years. The experiences had always been great, to be able to to do a lot of sports of interests and workouts during the appropriate scheduled sports and convenient time, trainings, etc. Been loving this...... until the recent incident that we encountered. Sports were scheduled for the shared courts. Fri evening from 5.30pm to 8pm was allocated for badminton, which coincidently in the same basketball room. Poor experience with cancelling my membership. Charging me more than I expected. Terms were not explained clearly when they were selling me the membership in the beginning and I was surprised by additional charges. When I inquired about it, I was told this was all in the contract I was emailed lol.

I moved to the area and joined the club with high hopes given the good weather here and apparently abundant tennis facilities. However, the club does not provide any organized tennis services beyond the most basic level. Their Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening tennis events ins cater mostly to 3.0 and 3.5 level players. As a higher level player who's always wanting to improve themselves, while at the same time still socializing, I'd like something a little more competitive. Most of our members who are tennis players fall under the 3.0-3.5 level of play which is why the tennis drop-ins are based on these levels. We suggest joining USTA leagues where you can compete at a higher level of play if needed and can enjoy the competitive edge even more!
No idea how this gym gets away with good reviews. The machines are old and falling apart, no one ever comes around cleaning them so They are filthy. Everything in this club is old and dated. All the tvs are broken. And even the couches are scribbled on, and may I add never cleaned. Our one year is coming up and I cannot wait to take my almost 200 a month elsewhere. This gym needs a huge overhaul. Would never recommend.

We replaced all of our selectorized machine equipment this year but please let us know which machines need attention. We are on a 6-day cleaning schedule for every part of the club, and our General Manager, Scott walks the club twice daily to be sure the club presentation represents our standards.
