Dinner here after a nearby Sunday matinee. Perfect, reasonably priced, good food. We all just had Pastrami and/or Ruebens. BUT, they were all very good, service was excellent. No complaints. Easy, simple. Would come back for sure.

The Brooklyn Diner is well worth the trip. Perfect for tourists. We had breakfast there. The offerings are extensive & we found it difficult to choose. We had the Tony Bennett French toast & 3 cheese omelette. They were delicious, served piping hot & each like a work of art on our plates. Our server, Joel, was attentive & personable. We'll go back the next time we're in NYC.

High quality diner food in a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly servers, attentive but never felt rushed. Enjoyed the "perfect plate" and veggie burger.

I went to the Brooklyn Diner for a friend's birthday and it was a delightful experience. The staff serenaded her and surprised our table with cheesecake and wine! It was such a lovely experience.

Make the Brooklyn Diner your midtown home away from home. They have the BEST chicken soup in NYC. You'll crave it when you are healthy, and you'll demand it when you are sick. Everything on the menu is stellar, but here are some of my favorites: the Chinese Chicken Salad, the hummus, the B&W Milkshake, the Mac and Cheese, the burger, the chocolate chip cookies and the Allen Grubman pudding pie. Oh, and the staff is like family. Request a booth upfront so you can observe what's happening inside and on the street.

Brooklyn Diner is just that, a diner. It is a very nice one, but if you are expecting something fancy, you will be disappointed. However, they did Diner well. The dishes were all well prepared, tasty, and generous in size. We were having early dinner before a show, and they accommodated our time schedule with a smile.

The service was very accommodating. I'm allergic to avocado and, although I didn't order a dish with avocado the waitress made a point of noting my allergy so the chef would be careful. My burger was cooked exactly as ordered; the food came out quickly and hot. The fries are outstanding. It's a bit loud, but that's to be expected in a "Diner" atmosphere. If you're going to theatre, be sure to make a reservation as the Diner became very crowded. You will absolutely enjoy the food.
