Outstanding location for pre-matinee lunch in Theater District but we'd love to try it for early dinner the next time we have a show in the evening. My wife and I often come up to NY from DC by train, see a show in the afternoon and then go back to DC. This will become our number 1 place for a lunch prior to the theater. We didn't order it but we saw the chicken pot pie on another table and we're ready for next visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Brooklyn Diner Times Square.
The Brooklyn Diner is one of our favorite restaurants to go to in NYC. We love the Chicken Pot pie and the Chicken Parmesan. Great atmosphere and this is our go to restaurant before a show. Try it you won't be disappointed.
Went with friend. Great pre-theater spot. Tastiest Reuben I've had in a long time, although it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. Nevertheless, plenty for me and delicious. Service was attentive. I'll definitely go back.

Returned to Brooklyn Diner after previous happy visits. Not disappointed, always a great choice to be squeezed into a trip to NYC.
The portions are on the large size so go with a strong appetite. The chicken pot pie well you have to see it to believe it
Good food. Good atmosphere. GREAT service. Professional and kind waiters and associates. Definitely a "go back" place to eat and would highly recommend.
