Not at all regular diner menu, menu not kid friendly, but very fresh and very well prepared food. Mostly pretty pricey. The chicken soup was outstanding! Waiter was so very nice! Tried very hard to accommodate our diet preferences.
Great for pre-theater. Food was good, service was fabulous.
Noisy. Very good food. Close to theatre district. Very busy at dinner hour, even during the week.
The best service we received our whole visit in NYC. Host went above and beyond to accommodate us and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and tasted fine-desserts were extra good. After a long day of sightseeing it was nice to relax and enjoy our meal. Convenient location by Times Square a bonus.
Service was great, verry efficient and friendly. The whole experience was nothing special just what Ivwould expect from a diner.
Our server, Dimitri, was AMAZING. We walked out of a couple of other restaurants, prior to seating, because of the rudeness of the servers. Dimitri made them a non-entity, with his attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine caring about our dining experience. When we return, it will be because of him.
I had the Tony Bennett French toast. It was SO good. Sunday brunch was very busy, so make a reservation. I was impressed when we changed our reservation at the last minute from 11 to 9:45 and when we got there, we were seated right away, even though they were super busy. It was pricey, though.
Food and service at the Brooklyn Diner are always stellar and that's why I go on a consistent basis. The best hummus anywhere - the stuff of dreams!!
Fun menu. Lots of stuff from childhood. Chicken paillard is delicious!
