Excellent breakfast. Nice touch with the fried polenta instead of home fries.
They have the best pot pie I've ever had. All fresh veggies in it and a nice flakey crust. It's enough for two people.
I spotted this restaurant when we came to New York at Christmas, but on our last evening sadly! This visit I made a point of visiting the Brooklyn Diner on our last evening! What a gem! Staff were very attentive, excellent atmosphere, relaxing and the food was to die for! Top notch, excellent and the best meal we had on our visit! Congrats to all the staff and well done
Great food and service. Have gone here several times before going to s matine.
Stopped by for a pre-theater meal. As others mentioned, the food is a little pricey, but I read where merchants near Times Square pay yuge rent, and I'm sure utilities are high. If your eating near times-square, PLEASE avoid the chain-based restaurants. For example, why eat at Applebee's and pay 2x the price you'd pay at home. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table, our waitress arrived quickly and was very fun. The food was delicious, the Huevos Rancheros were to die for. a tad on the expensive side, but worth it for a nice breakfast.
Charming. Excellent service and great variety on menu.
When I hear the "diner", I reason able prices. That was not case. Too expensive to be called a diner.
Not just a diner, a gourmet diner. We had the Veggie Burger, it was amazing! Fresh and great flavor. Service was great, atmosphere is "elevated diner." Love it and will go back.
