Enjoyed our first time at the Brooklyn diner so much before our Broadway show that we had to come back again. I loved that we were able to make a reservation here especially when you are pressed for time before attending a show. Cannot really complain about anything. The pigs in a blanket are a must and don't forget to leave room for the coconut cake. This might be our go to place before Broadway show dining
Hi Kate I need to thank you so much for going beyond the call of duty today. My mother, daughter and myself had breakfast at the Brooklyn diner this morning. We sat in the first booth. It was pouring and I had forgotten my theater tickets at the hotel. I asked you if you had a printer at the restaurant. You did and offered to print our tickets for us. You did!! Quick pre theater meal—the menu was fun, the food was tasty, the portions were ample, and the service was friendly and swift.

Made reservation with open table we got there early and it was no problem. They seated us right away waiter was excellent and attentive. Food was delicious and the wait was not long at all. One of the best egg creams I have had in awhile my son loved it.
Found this place through reviews on Open Table while we were visiting NYC, and so glad we did. Loved the atmosphere, staff was very attentive and food was served quickly. Everything was delicious. The chicken pot pie was HUGE! Would definitely go back for dinner again!
This is the forth time at Brooklyn diner. It a good place.Plain and simple. Large portions. The Thanksgiving Platter is a favorite of mine ,as is the Chicken Pot Pie. And the Kugel. It good. Go eat there.
There are 2 Brooklyn Diners. Take care. We booked one and turned up at the other!' But the staff were very welcoming and friendly and quickly sorted this out. We are from the UK so we all chose a typical hamburger meal and loved it. And Yes the Strawberry cheesecake is worth a month in the gym!
A great place for our mini family reunion on a Friday night! Service was wonderful (our very gracious server was a young, dark-haired man with a beard), food was great, and portions were generous. We were seated at a window looking out on Times Square. We did not feel rushed at all so it was a wonderful chance to catch up with the others. The coconut cake was delicious!
