Food was great! Very comfortable booth and prompt but not rushed service. The location is perfect as a pre-theater spot. The menu has something for everyone.
Excellent burgers! Very and attentive staff! Will definitely go back.
Decent food
We had a quick breakfast at the Diner. Food was good, how can you mess up breakfast, Service a little slow but we were in no rush. Everyone was pleasant, very crowded but they left you take your time. Certainly not the cheapest breakfast, but the location is convenient, serve steady.
We loved this place! The food was delicious...the chicken pot pie was outrageously good! The hamburgers were great, and don't forget to order a shake. The ambiance was cute, and is so close to the theaters. Great place to eat!
This was my second time here in the past month. The food was great (tho a bit pricey) but I guess it's fairly standard for the location but not what you think of when you think 'diner.' The portions are generous -- try the salmon in the clay pot or the chicken pot pie (it tends to sell out). Everything was great but my coffee at the end of the meal was lukewarm. when i asked for a hot refill, it too was lukewarm so i didn't give it five stars. It's great for a pre-theatre meal especially with the early (7pm) curtain.
food was good, but priced for times square. layout was strange, but booths made it more private than most nyc places that have tables on top of one another. i liked that i could make a reservation on a sunday afternoon and not need to wait in a line!
This is an ideal spot for a quick meal before the theatre. The service was a bit spotty on this last visit, but the food is sill good with a menu that would satisfy many.
Love the Brooklyn Diner. A must for breakfast any time I'm visiting New York City. Tony Bennett French toast is out of this world with the right combination of cinnamon, raisins and pecans. The service is outstanding and if you can get a seat looking out towards Times Square it is a great place to people watch.
