Ate lunch at the Brooklyn Diner before seeing Beautiful. The Mac & Cheese was delicious. Liked that it was so close to the theatre. My real reservation was for dinner after the show. I had the Chicken Noodle Soup and it was delicious. I was on a really tight Amtrak train schedule and I'm really glad I chose the Brooklyn Diner as the service was great, waiters were friendly and my food came out really fast. If coming to NY to see Beautiful, I would highly recommend eating there as it is across the street..and down a little.
Personable people--- kind of slow. Not a place for a pre-show meal. Good food, though slightly overpriced.
A quintessential NYC diner. It has charachter, ambiance, and energy found only around the heart of the city. From the moment you enter, Chris, the manager greets you with a smile, and makes you feel welcome. The service is prompt and friendly, and he food is excellent.

WE CAME TO THE BROOKLYN DINER AFTER FINDING IT ON A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR "FOOD NEAR RADIO CITY GOOD WITH KIDS". THERE WAS NO WAIT, THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT CROWED AT ALL, SO I THOUGHT GREAT WE COULD BE IN AND OUT QUICK. LUCKILY WE WERE NOT IN A RUSH... THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY BUT VERY SLOW.... BUT SURPRISINGLY THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! WE HAD THE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP THAT WAS FULL OF VEGGIES...THE KIDS ATE THAT RIGHT UP!!! THE BURGERS WAS HUGE, COOKED TO PERFECTION AND TASTED AMAZING! We were a group of 7 and enjoyed our meal here a great deal. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating and the meal was very good. We would be happy to dine here again on another visit to NYC.
Brought the grandkids for pre-theater dinner. Chicken pot pie was delicious - as always. Macaroni and cheese perfect for my 8 year old. Waiter couldn't be more amiable and we were on our way within an hour. Will be back.
Our waiter overheard that it was my mother's birthday and he brought her dessert with a candle and the staff all sand to her. It was wonderful!
The chicken noodle soup was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. The desserts (cheesecake, coconut cake) were awesome too!
