OK, this place is mobbed, and you may have to wait a few minutes for a table, even with a reservation, BUT, it DELIVERS!!! The food is excellent. Come early if you want chicken pot pie or pigs in a blanket, or they may run out -- but if you are lucky enough to get either, they are excellent. Also the enormous hot dog is also wonderful. My friends had chicken soup, salmon burger, and salmon in a pot, and they all raved about their dishes. The noodle pudding is also outrageous. Servers need to be nudged a bit, if you're in a r... read more

Great experience! For a very busy Sunday morning we made reservations and were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated. Who I am assuming was the front of the house manager took our beverage order and had excellent customer service along with everyone we encountered during our visit. Food was great...especially the muffin in mug. Eggs and pancakes were delicious too along with the coffee. Ww were pleasantly surprised with our visit!

The Brooklyn Diner is a must-visit experience and highlight of Times Square! The food is exceptional, and the staff treats customers like royalty. I'm not even a real foodie and I ended up sending out photos of picture-perfect entrees. I can't say enough about this place - just go! You won't regret it.

Perfect choice for our pre-theater dinner. We were heading to see Beautiful at the Steven Sonheim theater across the street. This place is just the ticket if you want a good value and a quiet dinner. Ask for a booth in the back for a cozy, private dining experience. Food is a cut above diner food. Costs a little more but tastes better, too. Host and wait staff are a cut above, as well. Table linens are cloth which is a nice touch for a diner.
