Mr. Feinman did a nice job with the ambience and the Logo but I think the food is overpriced. For a party of five we ended up paying $ 100 including the tip ...but you are in Times Square...and real estate is prime here.
We were looking for somewhere for Boxing Day Breakfast without having to pay exhorbitant New York Hotel rates for a breakfast buffet. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the Brooklyn Diner is. We would recommend it to anyone. Great food, great service and an amazing facility.
In Times Square, so it's for the tourists. But good burgers. I was disappointed that there was no brunch menu on Sunday at noon.
Food portions were huge. Food quality was good. The busboy spilled an entire glass of water on my sister without so much as an apolgy, but the server made it up to us with a free dessert. I wouldn't not recommend it, but we had better.
The food was pretty good (although my portion of chicken bolognse was extremely small). However, the menu was very limited and foremost, the prices (even for Manhattan) were way too high. A tuna sandwich should not be $19.50. I was with my cousins who were in from Toronto, Canada and they were disappointed as well. We would not return to the Brooklyn diner again. Thank you.
I love the food, would really like to see the Skirt Steak back on the menu
Just what you'd expect from a traditional NY diner in the heart of Times Square. Really good food in really large portions, excellent service and very busy. Be sure to make a reservation before you come, you won't be disappointed.
Danielle, the hostess, held our table for 15 minutes on a Friday night as we fought heavy traffic. Amazing corned beef and cabage, great Cheese burgers. Sundaes, milkshakes and the giant chocolate chip cookie finished off a great meal.
We had a Noon reservation but, because of holiday crowds, got to the restaurant at 12:15. Reservation was not honored and the wait for a table was about 45 minutes.
