Waiter was slow. French fries cold. Burger tepid. It was bad, but I had low expectations.
The food was mediocre at best and exorbitantly overpriced. Service was inconsistent. Our food came out at different times, one person in our party never got her order (which was a simple bowl of oatmeal) until after we had all finished eating and asked for the check. Coffee was slow to come and refills were hard to come by.
I had the waffle, egg and bacon. The waffle was cold and resembled toaster waffles. It didn't come with syrup so apparently I was supposed to eat it dry (and it was very dry). The egg was not cooked the way I ordered. I am squeamish about raw egg white so I had to send it back. They sent out another egg that was still undercooked but I didn't want to send it back again (my husband had already finished eating)so I ate the cold, frozen waffle. They were out of waffles, bananas, strawberries, and avocados when we tried to order. We asked for time to pick new selections after learning about the limitations. The waitress took forever to come back to our table and we eventually had to call her over. By then, they were out of blintzes too. We ordered and the food we received was fine, but on our way out we noticed tables being served things we were told were out. I would not come back or recommend this place to others.
The hot chocolate was served cold which was disappointing. The waffle grilled cheese was dry and did not have enough cheese. The burger was greasy and bun completely fell apart while eating. Totally not worth the money we paid for diner food but I guess since it’s New York that’s what you should expect. Waitress was nice but would not go back.

This place used to be a great option in Times Square. Has unfortunately gone really downhill in terms of food quality… evident further in this being one of the only reservations available in the area for pre-theatre dining.
We booked because the website indicated on Friday and Saturday they had a musical revue. I even called and spoke to an individual at the restaurant to confirm. Well, there they stopped it, even though I had called within two weeks of arrival . The service was lackluster and they placed a cold bottle of white wine on the table. Would not go back.
