Have dined at BD many times and the food is reliably good, not exceptional, but good for the price in NYC. We dined outside but well off the street. The waiter was efficient and friendly, and made recommendations for a drink after theater!

I've been eating at the Broken Diner for 33 years, and I've never been disappointed. I can pretty much recommend everything on the menu, including their 15-inch handmade natural casing hot dog, which is world-class. Also hats off to the staff at the front door, and the waitstaff is Sensational. You can't go wrong at this restaurant i highly recommend it

We had dinner outside in the courtyard and it was pleasant dining due to low humidity. The host greeted us and had us seated right away. Nordstroms is across the street in view. We had cheeseburgers and fries. I had the pineapple mojito for a cocktail and it was refreshing. Burgers were thick and juicy served on a brioche bun.

I made a reservation and was seated as soon as I arrived. There was a bit of a wait from the time we were seated until the time that our orders were taken. Not too long, but long enough for me to change my mind about what I wanted to eat, at least 3 times. The waiter was friendly and was able to take our order without writing it down!
