Perfect spot for dinner before going to Carnegie Hall
Wonderful food with huge portions and stellar service. Genevieve is a kind and generous and caring host at the front door. All the servers are efficient.
This is one of my favorite "go to" restaurants before a theatre or concert event. The food, service and atmosphere is consistently top quality!
Classic diner menu. The quality of the food was perfect
We took a friend along with his spouse to The Brooklyn Diner for his birthday preceding a Carnegie Hall concert. At 5 pm on MLK Day there were many customers, which suited us just fine. The service was good, the food excellent: our guests had delicious spareribs, equally yummy fish and chips (the french fries here are the best); my spouse had a Reuben sandwich (not classic, but tasty), and I had a large salad with chicken paillard and lots of other goodies. Recommended.

Great place for breakfast and novel for diner experience
It’s a great diner. Walkable from our hotel and on the way to Rockefeller. The service was great. Fun ambience with LL the classic diner vibes but NYC style (classy, names of famous people who ate at the diner on the walls). We had the special (cheeseburger, fries, shake for $26), chicken strips and the matzah ball soup. It was cold and windy outside so the warm comfort food hit the spot for everyone.
