Always a great experience at Brooklyn Diner. We enjoyed lunch in the beautiful courtyard. The food, service, setting all were exceptional. One of our favs.

We had dinner outside in the courtyard and it was pleasant dining due to low humidity. The host greeted us and had us seated right away. Nordstroms is across the street in view. We had cheeseburgers and fries. I had the pineapple mojito for a cocktail and it was refreshing. Burgers were thick and juicy served on a brioche bun.

I made a reservation and was seated as soon as I arrived. There was a bit of a wait from the time we were seated until the time that our orders were taken. Not too long, but long enough for me to change my mind about what I wanted to eat, at least 3 times. The waiter was friendly and was able to take our order without writing it down! Good food, location, and ambiance. Slow wrapping up payment - took longer than the meal.
What a typical New York diner! We enjoyed 4 breakfasts during our week in NYC. Food is fantastic. Service very fast. Very friendly staff. Once we met Guillermo (our server), we asked for him every time. The menu is huge, and you can do some variations to your dish. The Steak and Eggs was my thing. My wife was going for waffles and more traditional breakfast (pancakes). We also met Alexis, a retired server that is still coming to work a couple of days a week (just to help). Sometimes the best late lunch is breakfast. We totally enjoyed Brooklyn Diner’s Pastrami Hash with Fried Eggs with toast and housemade preserves for lunch. Great menu and exceptional service and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
