I received 2 bids on replacing my heat/ac combo unit on my home. Brower was higher priced but I went with them because of the good reviews. They also were using a different brand of unit than the other place I received a bid from. I asked them if they could install the other brand of unit that their competitor used and they agreed to do that. They installed the unit and that night we turned it on and it did not go on. Bait and switch. I waited three weeks for the Roseville rebate program to begin so that I could have a free energy audit done on my house. I was told by Keith that they would come in with their infrared camera, blower door test, HVAC evaluation, look over my past 12 months of energy bills and give me a thorough energy efficiency report so that I could take advantage of the rebates and make informed decisions on where to spend my money. when their consultant showed up he says he is here to give me a quote for a full HVAC pack... read more

We did try to resolve this privately. Your review clearly states that you want a free quote and if possible a SMUD energy audit. Prior to March 1, no contractor knew the parameters of the Roseville Electric Rebate program. If Roseville Electric subsidized the energy assessment, we would be happy to honor it.
