We had Brower install a new HVAC unit in our home around 2011. They replaced both the furnace and air conditioner with high efficiency matched units and dual zoned the house for them. After the install, it turned out they had done something wrong. We had a leak in the attic that damaged the drywall in our upstairs bathroom. My elderly (90+ years) mother had brower perform their ac "tune up" some time ago. When she turned on her ac on the first hot day of the year IT DID NOT COME ON. She called brower and they said they could make it out in "a couple of days." She finally got another company to come out and they quickly discovered that brower had not bothered to PLUG IN the unit after their "tune up." She was out over $200 from the second company.
