BEWARE!!!!! If I could give this company zero stars I would. We had Brower come out and check out our unit that was purchased and installed by Brower in 2012. It was blowing warm air. After installing a new capacitor the unit was still producing warm air. We were told they needed to do a leak detection test where they would put in 6lbs of refrigerant and inject a dye. We had Brower install a new HVAC unit in our home around 2011. They replaced both the furnace and air conditioner with high efficiency matched units and dual zoned the house for them. After the install, it turned out they had done something wrong. We had a leak in the attic that damaged the drywall in our upstairs bathroom. They were awesome about the leak and getting it taken care of. Three float switches later, it turned out that someone did the wiring wrong. Brower took care of it and had the drywall repaired. My elderly (90+ years) mother had brower perform their ac "tune up" some time ago. When she turned on her ac on the first hot day of the year IT DID NOT COME ON. She called brower and they said they could make it out in "a couple of days." She finally got another company to come out and they quickly discovered that brower had not bothered to PLUG IN the unit after their "tune up." She was out over $200 from the second company. She called brower and was told that "someone would get back to her." NO ONE BOTHERE... read more

Made an appointment 2 or so weeks in advance and was given a 4 hour window for their arrival. It really is kind of annoying that you can't get a tighter window for arrival. Sat around waiting for 4 hours on a Saturday and no one came, no one called. Waste of time. Cannot recommend them.

Do not and I repeat do not use this company as they, especially Duane, the Vise President will not correct installing the wrong size unit on our house. We went thru the smud program and had Brower do the work as my neighbor had them do his house. Right from the start the unit would not hold temperature and they came back out and replaced the ducting they installed to the family room. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Brower had installed the new AC unit and system about a year before I bought my house and it was still under warranty. When I was doing my walk around inspection of the house the AC was clearly not working right as the air blowing out was hot and muggy. The seller had Brower come out to service the system and it was fixed. Then after moving into the house about one year later the AC was having more issues not getting cold! We hired browerto insulate our attics after installing new roof. We had to go through the placer county Mpower they offered to handle all the work little did I know that instead of me paying roofer direct they made me give them the loan money which I found out through a mistake that they added 10k to roofers bid and kept it all . The insulation guys were great but the first guys getting it cleaned out were not. September 21, 2015. 3:30 pm. They had us wait for four hours for a service appointment only to discover they wrote the incorrect phone number to let us know they were coming. Not even an apology.

I received an AC service from the government rebate program and called Brower, having done an earlier AC service by Bell Brothers. Brower rep wrote down a laundry list of itemes that needed repairs totaling $1K and future repairs of over $1K. However, some items said to be problem areas were checked fine or were already cleaned by Bell Brothers , such as the coil but was marked as "Very Dirty" by Brower rep and estimated to cost $358 to clean.
