Be warned. Update: Brower sent a technician to address my concerns (see photos on original post) and after the installation initially failed to pass code. The second technician, Sean, improved the appearance and connected the second stage which wasn't activating, making it quieter and functional. However, we still have to remove the closet door plate to change the filter due to the initial crew's oversight. We purchased and AC unit from them, paid an annual fee for maintenance for 8 years and the first time we called for help we were charged $455 for a part that was $20. We wrote to the owner who had very poor customer service.

Worst experience ever! Brower never properly installed our Trane heat/air unit. For over 10 years they sent mechanic after mechanic out to "repair" unit. Never could fix it or figure out problem. Finally one educated mechanic (who no longer works for them) realized the unit wasn't getting enough "return air" so we had to install a 3rd air return duct to the unit to work properly (after 10 years!) I saw it had good review & he told me $150 to estimate the repairs but it turned out $260. I won't recommend anyone to use their over charged estimate nor service.

Asked for a diagnostic on my air conditioner that was making a clunking noise. For $129 Lance came out and said (after an hour at our house) "you need a new motor", I asked what that would cost ... about $1,000... after getting no copy of the initial work invoice e or a follow up call, I called the office and asked for both. I was using Yelp reviews to contact 24 hour repair places. I left a message for this company Sunday morning at 6am - and didn't hear back until Monday morning at 9am. I had since had my air conditioner repaired.

Fast response, but grossly overcharged for Air Conditioning replacement part (capacitor replacement 10x markup). Several annoying follow-up texts and emails, yet none of the people I contacted would even discuss the overcharge.

Called because contractor is listed with SMUD for EV charger installs. They would only come out if "bundled" with another service such as HVAC, water heater or electrical panel upgrade

Beyond a disappointing experience. We bought a house in 2020 that had work done by Brower in 2017. They did $24,000 worth of work and installed a new day and night heating a cooling system. They also installed &37,000 worth of solar. We'll this year in November the heating unit started not working properly.
