This company has been called to my home twice for furnace repair in the last month, purporting to make repairs. They have charged me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary "maintenance" on my furnace to "fix" it, yet utterly failed to diagnose and repair the problem. It is now freezing out, near midnight on a Friday night, I am old, disabled, and shivering in my home. They have not called me back as promised. Two visits, and they still have not fixed my furnace. They upcharge you by a lot compared to other ac mechanics. They were going to charge me $550 for capacitor replacement whereas other mechanic would charge you around $200. Should have called around more but the heat was too much to handle. Wont recommend this place to anyone

Had a pressure switch go bad and they wanted $660 to replace it and a capacitor. I purchased BOTH parts for $37.00 and it took me 18 minutes to replace both parts. To me, they charge $1,200/hour for service. NO THANK YOU

Been customers for over 20 years. The last few years Brower has gotten very expensive and unsat. Last 2-3 years I have twice had unit not stop runniing and fix was to flip circuit breaker. Changed $100 both times, even though their records pre-call had stated this problem; I wasn't advised, repairman came and flipped breaker and charged. This year unit wouldn't run. Where to begin??? Robocall? These morons robocall AND leave prerecorded voicemails. Each of the robocalls are followed by voicemails and then robo-texts just following up to see that I got the call and voicemails. Do you really want someone that would robocall you endlessly in your house?!? They can't choose right from wrong while advertising, do you honesty think they'll do the right thing in your attic???? Wait a second!!!!! While writing this review I got ANOTHER robocall! Classic!

Like another Yelper I too received a robo call from Brower about a truck in my neighborhood.. I tried to send the following message in reply, but the number they called from is blocked. So, below is the message I was unable to send. Now everyone can read it: I would REALLY appreciate it if you take me off your call list. After the first PG&E power shut-off, I contacted Brower Mechanical because of their radio show and advertising on KFBK. I called and a very friendly woman took my name and address to set up an appointment for a Service Advisor to come to my home. That is when my husband and I met Coby, who was very nice and personable. He explained how the generator and transfer switch would work. 2 years into a 3 year service plan, and they never do the job they come out to do...every time they come I have to have them back to fix problems that weren't there before the visit. I'm cutting my losses on the plan and not having them back.

My disappointment was their lack of transparency in giving me a repair quote that would break down the cost of the parts and labor for the work. Mike and his associate came to the house and within less than 10 minutes said that there was something wrong with the blower or the bearing of the 3 year old mini split AC unit installed in my family room.
