We love BRU and have eaten at other locations many times. On this occasion, I was disappointed because it took over an hour for my wife and I to get our food. (We both ordered burgers.) No one stopped by to explain what was taking so long. I’ve eaten at both the downtown and Carmel locations and never had to wait nearly that long even with significantly larger parties. Once our food arrived it was delicious!
Overall not impressed and will not try again. Very overpriced and order came out incorrectly. Burgers were overdone even though they were ordered to temperature.
To start off we had a reservation and still waited over 30 minutes. They lost or forgot our order. Our food took forever to arrive as people after us got their food before us. The waiter apologized and said he would see about some type of compensation or adjustment but he never did. There was a very large party standing over and around our table waiting to be seated. I’m pretty sure the place was over 50% capacity. My burger was over cooked. I usually have a good experience here but last night was off!
Food is overpriced. Service is not good. The server was very attentive with the 6 top next to us, yet couldn’t refill our drinks all the times they walked by. 10/10 don’t recommend
We made our reservation through open table for our family of eight. When we arrived they told us we could not sit together due to Covid. I was very frustrated that OpenTable allowed me to make the reservation without first letting the customer know they weren’t seating families together.
We had a party of 6 with a reservation. The table was ready and the greeters were very friendly. I don’t know if our server was new or just negligent. He didn’t put in our drink orders, and actually told us he forgot! Three of our orders were mixed up and one was not put in! One member of our party specifically asked for the gluten free menu. Whenever we make a reservation, we request outside seating. However we always have to wait an extra 30-45 minutes. It is ridiculous. We will never go there again
