He was without a doubt the worst doctor I have encountered. He was taking over to do a standard colonoscopy within the practice, where my normal doctor had retired. He talked down to me (despite both of us holding doctorates), and began to lecture me about my weight and sent me into a total unnecessary panic about my health. I have never had someone made me feel so bad in such a small amount of time. Then, comes the colonoscopy. My husband was never brought back to me. When I was barely awake he was standing 10' away and said... read more

I visited Dr Koff in April 2024 after 5ish years of severe constipation (barely 1-2 poops a week). All the tests I asked him about had some reason they wouldn't be effective, and he told me it really wasn't a big deal and just take Mira lax. I left feeling dismissed and alone. I've continued trying many things in the year since then, and nothing has helped (still). I made an appointment with another provider.

Darryn is poor at making a correct diagnosis. Too quick to jump to conclusions. Not a deep thinker.

Perfectly fine for routine exams if you don't have any symptoms. But a poor choice if you have already been diagnosed and know your status - he is not strong on his basic physiology and pharmacology but treats cases as an AI or expert system of a bygone era would. Don't waste your time with him if you have Inflammatory Bowel Disease for example; instead find a better provider if you can.

I am experiencing unprofessional treatment from an assistant(Lexi) and the "supervisor". The clients portal messages is so unprofessional. I requested a callback from Dr. Neumann regarding lab results, but the assistant responded rudely, making me feel like a bother. After scheduling an appointment, I was shocked by the assistant's comment that doctors dislike returning calls about lab results due to time constraints. During a telephone appointment with Dr. Iyer, I mentioned a work-related issue, which was misinterpreted. Th... read more

Dr Bassin…do you have empathy? Do you feel any concern for your patients? Or are we just transactional relationships to you?You don’t truly know me, and I don’t really know you. But I’ve been your patient ever since you joined the current practice in Rockville—a long time now. Over those years, I placed my trust in you, expecting more than a perfunctory “Hi, I’m Dr. Bassin” followed by a handshake and a polite dismissal: “Call me if you’re in serious pain.”I’ve come to your office repeatedly with stomach and intestinal issue... read more

Dr Howard was scheduled to perform a colonoscopy this morning. The head of anesthesiology was supposed to provide instructions because I suffer from migraines that get worse with fasting and anesthesia. There was a communication breakdown, Dr Howard didn't speak with the anesthesiologist and I became very sick at the office and they didn't have the correct meds to treat me.Dr Howard was rushed and not kind. I had a migraine and she refused to speak in a soft voice and she demanded that I keep my eyes open during our conversa... read more

Had a colonoscopy complication (aspirational vomit under anesthesia) which likely no one's fault. But failure to get to to ER or hospital after hours of not doing well in recovery room was significant error since my lungs were already compromised from another condition and I am 69. Even gave me option to go home with supervision which could have led to fatal emergency. When I decided on ER, confirmed I had aspirational pneumonia and hospitalized for week on oxygen, antibiotics. Essentially, I saved myself by going to hospita... read more
