Had a colonoscopy complication (aspirational vomit under anesthesia) which likely no one's fault. But failure to get to to ER or hospital after hours of not doing well in recovery room was significant error since my lungs were already compromised from another condition and I am 69. Even gave me option to go home with supervision which could have led to fatal emergency. When I decided on ER, confirmed I had aspirational pneumonia and hospitalized for week on oxygen, antibiotics. Essentially, I saved myself by going to hospita... read more
I had a CT scan. Did not receive the results. Left messages on the portal. Called the office and spoke with the physicians assistant twice. In the midst of the conversation she left to take care of her dog. Clearly, I was relegated to the status of sub dog! I feel abused, neglected, and ignored. This is not what I want from my physician. I am an 89 year-old female and have visited a number of physicians in Bethesda and none of them have been as terrible a situation as this doctor put me in. my mother died of cancer and my co... read more
Very dismissive and terrible bedside manner.
I had the absolute worst experience with Dr. Seddun, and I am appalled by his complete lack of care and compassion. I suffer from gastritis, and during my appointment, he showed zero interest in my pain or well-being. His bedside manners? Nonexistent. It felt like he was only interested in one thing: money. I was rushed out of the appointment in less than a minute! When I asked how I was supposed to manage my pain until my next endoscopy (which won't be for another 3 weeks!), he didn’t offer a single bit of advice or concern.... read more

Brian states that: “My approach to patient care is interactive. I believe there is a relationship between patient and doctor that allows for joint decision making.” This can’t be true. I find him to be inarticulate, impatient, and condescending. He prefers you not to ask questions or be involved in your own care. There seems to be some insecurities present that show up as defensiveness when I ask questions to understand my health and a path forward. Brian’s level of care is below average. His communication needs much improve... read more
I have been battling gastritis since childhood, and my recent experience at Fallsgrove Endoscopy Center/Capital Digestive Care in Rockville was nothing short of a nightmare. The level of frustration and disappointment I encountered is beyond words. Consultation and Communication: From the very beginning, Dr. David Jager's apparent disinterest was disheartening. I felt like just another number rather than a patient in need of care. The staff’s lack of communication and failure to provide any directions or instructions added t... read more
I was a first time patient wanting a consultation. He walked in (late) did not make any eye contact and spouted the words without a pause, 'HelloNiceToMeetYou', sat down buried his face in his computer barely asked any questions, did not look up to address me and just said you'll need a colonoscopy and we'll take some tissue samples, you can have this done in a few days. I'll put you on the schedule. I said said no thanks and walked out. Avoid!
Had an endoscopy with Dr. Pollack and went well. He put music on just as i was getting the anesthesia and i thought it was weird but nevertheless, he gave me an explanation as i came out of anesthesia and followed up with a written explanation in the patient portal. HOWEVER, when i asked follow up questions he never answered me. I emailed and called his office and never heard from him again. Disappointing.
