I was a first time patient wanting a consultation. He walked in (late) did not make any eye contact and spouted the words without a pause, 'HelloNiceToMeetYou', sat down buried his face in his computer barely asked any questions, did not look up to address me and just said you'll need a colonoscopy and we'll take some tissue samples, you can have this done in a few days. I'll put you on the schedule. I said said no thanks and walked out. Avoid!
Had an endoscopy with Dr. Pollack and went well. He put music on just as i was getting the anesthesia and i thought it was weird but nevertheless, he gave me an explanation as i came out of anesthesia and followed up with a written explanation in the patient portal. HOWEVER, when i asked follow up questions he never answered me. I emailed and called his office and never heard from him again. Disappointing.
Dr. Golding bed side manner is just bad. Not understanding of the pt nor does he listen. He also never once washed his hands. 100% will never go back.
Dr. Shah provided an overview of my options which was helpful. However, I felt very judged and uncomfortable when asking her questions. Her answers were judgmental rather than professional
Disinterested and impatient, particularly during follow up calls.
Dr. Ali totally missed my 18 yr old son's advancing Crohn's disease, in spite of being told of a family history. He never performed the simplest of diagnostic tests which could have indicated that symptoms were in fact Crohn's disease. Instead, he referred my son for unnecessary surgical procedure. This only allowed the disease to progress untreated until, thankfully, a skilled NP in the Cleveland Clinic system recognized the symptoms. My son was hospitalized, properly diagnosed, stabilized, and is finally doing well, albeit... read more
Unwilling to listen to anything complicated that doesn’t require her to turn the wheel and - unable to think critically. Nonresponsive and highly dismissive. I would not send my worst enemy to her. She should really find another profession that doesn’t involve interacting with people.
You don't get the sense that he is listening, he has already decided before you've spoken. Felt rushed. Didn't seem caring about the pain I was in. Missed a major problem found once I switched to a different gastro who listened to my symptoms. This put me through months and months of unnecessary pain until ultimately getting a major surgery to correct what was wrong all along and was easily diagnosed by an endoscopy that Dr Kim did not think I needed. Thank God I switched doctors and trusted my own gut, no pun intended.
She misdiagnosed me and was extremely flippant and dismissive about my suffering. I reached out to her several times when her treatments were not working. She responded saying that was all that could be done. After a year of consistent symptoms, my primary care doctor looked at the area and heard my symptoms and said she did not believe I had the condition that Okoji diagnosed me with and gave me a new referral.Dr. Okoji is highly arrogant. She does not like to be asked questions. If you expect to participate in the process ... read more
