Carmel Village is a beautiful facility and we absolutely love the outdoor space - that was very important to us because we wanted our loved one to really enjoy nature. We had some challenging circumstances and the staff members were more then accommodating and flexible to work with us to really make things work. We would definitely recommend this community to other families.
We think the staff members at Carmel Village are incredibly friendly and overall it has really been a good experience for our family. There are a lot of activities for the residents to do and our loved one has met so many new people. When we were touring communities, Carmel Village seemed to have a lot more residents interacting and engaging with one another. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.
The value for the money is great. We picked this community because, it was half the price, was close to home, looked clean, was a nice area, and everyone was friendly. My advice to other families is to, explore the community and see what they think for their loved one.
I really liked Carmel Village. If it were me, I would have chosen it. But my mom liked another facility better. I liked the grounds and the apartments. They also had plans to make a 24-hour deli kind of thing where you could grab a snack if you were hungry.
From the moment I drove up to take a tour of Carmel Village it stood out as just a beautiful setting for a active community. I wish all assisted-living communities could look this good. And the staff above and beyond helpful with answering my questions.
The community is very clean and the staff members are super friendly. They greet all the visitors when they come and they always say hi to us when we are out and about. The dining service is really good but sometimes the meals are a little hit or miss.
We chose Carmel Village because I like the ambiance of the grounds, they are very pretty and well kept. I also really liked [name removed] the sales director, he did a great job at showing us around and giving us all the information we needed. Out of all the facilities that we looked at, this was the best by far. It is also a pet friendly facility which is perfect for us since we have a little dog. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.
